Announced as a National Monument in 2015, the Fullerton Hotel Singapore, part of the LVX collection of Preferred Hotels & Resorts, delivers an elegant destination in a prestigious Singapore building. Once the home of Singapore’s General Post Office, the building has been transformed into an iconic hotel. Spacious bathrooms and modern amenities in a contemporary designed room contribute to the sense of extravagance.

First and foremost, I would like to thank the team for always accommodating my family and me. We are celebrating my mom's and cousin's birthdays, and they did not disappoint. From the moment we entered, Natasha assisted us gracefully. Then we had Dawn, who, I must say, really did a great job of taking care of everything. The drinks, cake, and especially the durian dessert were fantastic! A special shout-out to Ms. Beatrice, who also prepared a surprise for them. Fullerton Hotel will always be my go-to place for special events! Always and forever, The V

The Fullerton hotel is located in the old post office, close to the business district and convenient for city access. The hotel itself has been thoughtfully modernised while still maintaining the early 1900 heritage. The lobby, concierge and reception area are conveniently located, although reception was difficulty to locate initially, as tucked away behind pillars and a staircase, away from the main entrance. The hotel has a well-equipped gym and spa, with sauna and steam room and a good-sized outdoor pool, with loungers and a drink and food service available during the day. Pool staff very attentive and efficient, with drinks, food, water etc. arriving quickly. Equally the Fullerton Bay Hotel (part of the same group) is literally across the road, accessed by a tunnel between the two with escalators and travelators, to save you walking to far. This gives you access to a very stylish and contemporary roof top pool and bar, which is very popular at night. Great views of the Marina Bay Sands and the marina. We had a heritage room which was well equipped and everything worked. Plenty of towels, bathroom facilities, storage space and multi-national sockets and USB ports etc. Bed was large and very comfortable with plenty of pillows. Extra towels were delivered quickly and without fuss. Plenty of coat hangers etc in wardrobes and fridge well stocked. Room service available 24hrs. Breakfast, buffet style, was good with plenty of choices including Western and eastern breakfast choices, with egg choices cooked to order. Coffee was adequate but not good. Breakfast staff are friendly and helpful but just a little bit erratic. Each morning, we were asked if we would like tea of coffee, on two days it did not arrive at all and we eventually got our own and on the other two days it took 20 minutes to arrive. The number of guests, all moving around to select breakfast items, makes the breakfast experience anything but relaxing or comfortable. The buffet is spread across four different locations in the space, so people are constantly passing. Not the best experience. The hotel staff are all polite and attentive, if anything, the only downside to the hotel is that they need to deal with some of the issues caused by the heritage, which is also its unique selling point. The layout does not flow. Equally the ‘process’ of service is just a little erratic. The staff are excellent but the service is a little unreliable, inconsistent and erratic, with items not arriving, not being replaced when used in the room etc. Room was serviced daily and coffee pods replaced each day, when used, but the milk pods in the fridge were never replaced! Waste bin never emptied but moved back into the same position each day! The defining feature of 5* customer service is that the small things are done all the time, consistently, efficiently and without patrons having to ask. Would I recommend this hotel? Yes, the building and location are amazing and the heritage makes it a unique experience, but just be aware that from a service perspective it is not quite up to the customer service and process standard you would expect from a 5* hotel.

The Straits Club was a constantly lovely experience in atmosphere and service and delicious food. I wholly recommend it, with its offerings of complimentary breakfast and afternoon tea and evening canapés and cocktails. In particular I want to thank Han, who was managing the Straits Club, who went out of his way and above and beyond to assist me with a problem and to make my stay at the Fullerton a wonderful time.

I had the pleasure of celebrating my birthday at The Fullerton Hotel Singapore, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The service was exceptional—warm, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful throughout. A special thank you to Shiloh, Zona, and Monni for going above and beyond to make my celebration so special. Your kindness and attention to detail did not go unnoticed. It’s clear the team takes pride in delivering outstanding hospitality. Thank you again for making my birthday so memorable. I’ll definitely be returning.
