The Fullerton Hotel Singapore

Rooms: amazing - sumptuous luxury. Needs two sinks not one! The heated seat in our room didn’t work - shame. Service: breakfast too busy and lacking attention and knowledge. Variety was good but table care was poor. Reception: ok but felt like a Hilton! Conceige: why could they not just go the extra mile…we asked about the best place to watch the MBS light show and were directed to the marina at the base of the hotel when the best place would have been the roof top bar at the Fullerton Bay Hotel which we have access to (only found this out on our last night when we asked about the bars). Bizarrely the room F&B credit cannot be used at the Whisky bar at the Fullerton Hotel but can be used at the Fullerton Bay hotel! This review talks about some niggles and not to diminish what a beautiful hotel the Fullerton is…a recommended stay.

The Fullerton Hotel of Singapore is well located close to many main attractions, and situated within the historic post office. We experienced a beautiful stay with Straits Club benefits including silver service breakfast and champagne evenings included. I felt like a princess! The delightful staff’s thoughtful attentiveness made our holiday in Singapore more special than expected. Thank you especially to Hans, Durai and Soo Jin for your kind attendance. We will be sure to visit again!

I have been sitting on this review for months, trying to work out how best to do the hotel, its staff and our entire experience justice. Quite simply, our stay at The Fullerton Hotel Singapore was the best hotel and holiday experience we have ever had in all our travels. My partner and I stayed at The Fullerton in March for a birthday getaway. We had admired the hotel on previous visits to Singapore, although we had always stayed at Raffles nearby, so this time we decided to book a suite at The Fullerton for the occasion. I mentioned in advance that we were visiting to celebrate a birthday, and the team went well and truly above and beyond to make our stay incredibly special. We were upgraded to a beautiful penthouse suite with an outdoor terrace and pavilion- which turned out to be the perfect place to watch the fireworks during our stay. When we arrived, we were greeted with balloons, wine, souvenirs, fruit platters, cake... you name it. We genuinely could not have been more delighted. Even more than the thoughtful gifts and beautiful suite, however, what made our stay so memorable were the wonderful people who work at The Fullerton. The hotel should be incredibly proud of its team. Everyone we encountered was warm, thoughtful, funny and genuinely personable. A very special thank you to Soo Jin, Wei Sheng, Zach and Ryan for making our stay the best we have ever had. Thank you, Fullerton Singapore, for the wonderful memories and exceptional care. We will absolutely be back.
