We stayed at the Mandarin Oriental for 13 days. Good hotels often advertise ‘come as a guest and leave as a friend’... This is not the case at the Mandarin Oriental Singapore. In fact, we arrived already as friends! Upon arrival, we were greeted with our names on the kerb outside the hotel, everything was taken from us and we were immediately shown to our Seaview Suite with balcony, where check-in was so smooth... It wasn't just the luxurious furnishings of the hotel, the dignified atmosphere of all the restaurants, the MO Bar, which invited us to linger over a Singapore Sling, and the spacious pool with its magnificent view of Marina Bay; it was the people, the staff, who surrounded us and tried to anticipate our every wish before we even thought of it! This became particularly noticeable when my husband needed help due to an accident: immediately, all the managers concerned, led by Mrs Marget, gathered with sympathy and called the ambulance, which took us to Singapore General Hospital. A heartfelt thank you to the paramedics and the hospital's medical team, led by Dr Chin Hong Mai, who took care of my husband with empathy, professionalism and comprehensive care. After our return to the Mandarin Oriental, all the staff showed deep and genuine compassion and repeatedly asked us to contact them if we needed anything! The construction site in front of the hotel (until 2027) cannot be heard thanks to the massive windows in the rooms. There is a slight disturbance on the balcony, but nothing can be heard at the pool! The Michelin-starred Chinese restaurant ‘Cherry Garden’ more than impressed us with its Chinese New Year menu; thanks also to the hotel's sommelier, David Lee. The award-winning Japanese restaurant “Zuicho” enchanted us with a perfect ‘gourmet theatre’, which we were able to enjoy sitting right at the counter... The pool is simply stunning, as is the pool team, who go the extra mile to ensure the gastronomic enjoyment of the guests... We recommend booking a suite with a balcony and enjoying the kindness of the entire team at the Executive Lounge, known here as ‘House 65’, who pampered us incessantly! Special thanks to Yaya! We will definitely return next year!

Our stay at the Mandarin Oriental, Singapore was very positive from an accessibility perspective. Staff were attentive and respectful when assisting with mobility needs, and moving around the hotel with a mobility scooter was straightforward thanks to wide spaces and step-free access. Lifts were reliable and easy to locate. The team responded quickly to requests, such as ensuring the room was suitable for my needs. Breakfast and public areas were spacious and calm. Overall, the hotel felt welcoming, organised, and comfortable for disabled guests travelling with mobility equipment. A special thanks to Ganes and Jerome from the restaurant for their love and attention.

I have just checked in today for 4 nights and the hotel is beautiful. I am, however, disappointed by the front desk service. I booked with Amex Fine Hotel and Resorts and I have not been given anything paperwork to confirm the perks as all other hotels do. Additionally, I wasn’t given an upgrade and there was zero acknowledgement on this. I can see online other room categories are available. Quite disappointing considering I overheard the people stood next to me at the front desk get offered an upgrade… On another note, the room service staff are very attentive. However, given the lack of upgrade and attention to detail from the front desk,I’m a little saddened by my experience so far.

An absolutely exceptional stay at the beautifully renovated Mandarin Oriental. The interiors are stunning and the hotel is perfectly located with sweeping views of Marina Bay. We stayed in a Harbour View Room with club access. The rooms are spacious and beautifully appointed. Loved the bedlinens and bath with Dyptique products. Haus 65 Club was fantastic. Excellent service and a beautifully presented array of breakfast, afternoon tea and canape selections. Champagne and cocktails were so lovely. We were so impressed with the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. Justin in Haus 65 went out of his way with intuitive and very caring service. We were also impressed with Timothy, Uni in the club and Carine at Embu restaurant. Can highly recommend. It surpassed expectations!

Room size with a toddler is quite small. No place to walk if two suitcases are open. Everyone at front desk is rude or has a sense of arrogance. We requested for a bigger room and it took them 10 hours to find one after consistent follow up and calls. Felt there was a borderline racist attitude from the front desk and that left a strange feeling considering it’s an MO brand. The kindest person was the doorman.
