Mandarin Oriental, Singapore

The staff and breakfast are the best features of this hotel. The concierges Asher and Justin were most helpful for restaurants and shopping. Jeff was so friendly and helpful at the front desk. The front desk staff was also great at all times. Everyone at breakfast was superb even the managers who stoped by to chat. I especially appreciated Roy at the waffle and gelato area. He was always smiling. The breakfast food was delicious except they only offered an amazing bread roll on the first day. The only negative was the mildew smell in the guest room when exiting the bathroom. But the bathroom and bed were excellent. The pool was relaxing with plenty of sun beds. We enjoyed watching the lifeguard and his enthusiasm for what appeared to be a boring job. The hallways carpet looks worn but I think it was designed that way. Not a good choice. I likely won't return due to the mildew smell and the lack of a Singapore-feel, but I'm glad I got to try this hotel.

Our anniversary stay at the Mandarin Oriental, Singapore was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, everything felt thoughtful and seamless, with exceptional service and beautiful attention to detail throughout. A special thank you to Ms. Princes Palero for going above and beyond to make our celebration extra meaningful, her warmth and care made all the difference. We left with wonderful memories and can’t wait to return.

As this was my very first stay with Mandarin Oriental, I can confidently say it has set an incredibly high standard and a wonderful beginning to what will certainly become many future stays. I will wholeheartedly recommend Mandarin Oriental Singapore to everyone, and moving forward, Mandarin Oriental will be my first choice whenever I travel. Wonderful hotel Made us feel very special Class act Zuicho is excellent. Food wonderful. Chef Suzuki deserves a Michelin star or three. Denise at front of house excellent. I think they opened specially for us as it was our big anniversary. All staff at Haus 65 Excellent. Food and beverages are of very high standards. Shout out to Ramis who tried very hard to reassure us and help when I thought I left my wallet in a taxi. Special shout out to Josh at the bell team. Always a friendly face. Anticipated all our needs. I think this young man has a bright future in hospitality. Thank you MOSIN. See you soon.
