Mandarin Oriental, Singapore

I had a truly wonderful stay at Mandarin Oriental, Singapore, made exceptional by the warm and attentive staff across every department. Specialy I would like to sincerely thank Puteri,Berth,Yati and Princess for their professionalism, efficiency, and genuine hospitality. They made me very pleasant and overall experience smooth and welcoming from the very beginning of stay to the last.

Thank you for the wonderful hospitality and for making our stay truly memorable. Miss Khuzama’s birthday celebration was exceptional, and we truly appreciated the thoughtful touches. Thank you once again for the exceptional service, and I look forward to the opportunity of staying with Mandarin Oriental, Singapore again in the future.

Our stay at the hotel was very pleasant. We found Justin from HAUS-65 extremely professional with impeccable manners. Nothing was too much trouble. Mandarin Oriental Singapore is fortunate to have a staff member like him. We are sure he has a bright future ahead of him. Helen and Michael Carapiet

Good but there's room for improvement as sometimes the little details detract from what could be a great experience. The club Lounge, Haus 65, was very good at certain things and poor at others. The good, staff are excellent and very helpful, the car service was fantastic and very much appreciated. Availability of drinks and the variety are excellent. The bad, food overall was disappointing. Breakfast hot buffet food was cold every time we tried to use it, please turn the heat UP, selection was poor. Afternoon tea was the best with a good mix of choices. The evening was the most disappointing with a heavy Indian influence, ( i thought we were in Singapore NOT Bombay) one night it was exclusively Indian, Yuk so we had nothing we could eat. Again most dishes were luke warm to cold. Overall could have been very good if you had some more Asian choices. We tried the Embu breakfast buffet one morning and it was just a shambles with people everywhere and kids running wild, we have never seen so many rude dirty disrespectful people in one place, just grubs, staff try but seemed overwhelmed. The room was lovely but again the bathroom is a real let down with extremely poor design. there is almost no room to dry yourself after getting out of the shower as they have jammed a bath tub in the corner and it is crammed. it all looks great but is totally impractical, typical of a trendy designer with NO idea of practicality. Pool water is freezing cold, please at least heat the water to take the edge off the temperature, is it any wonder hardly anyone was in the water. Also its a dangerous area overall as there are insufficient handrails given the volume and positioning of the many steps in the pool area. When you paying nearly $1000 per night I think we will continue our search of better options. This hotel gets close but the little and finer details really do make the difference and on this this hotel fails the test. Overall stay was very good but for the price you expect excellent.

The hotel itself is a masterpiece of design and architecture. The stunning blend of contemporary elegance and traditional touches creates a welcoming, luxurious atmosphere that immediately made me feel at home. The space is airy and bright, with breathtaking views of the city skyline, which made my stay even more memorable. The attention to detail is exceptional. My room was absolutely stunning, spacious, well-appointed, and with every little touch thoughtfully considered. It was the perfect home base for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Housekeeping was impeccable, ensuring everything was spotless and taken care of, so we could truly unwind. Throughout our visit, the service stood out. Every interaction with the hotel team was warm and genuine. I would especially like to highlight Jeff, Guest Service Manager, who went above and beyond to make sure we felt well taken care of throughout our stay. His hospitality was truly exceptional, and it is clear that this level of care is shared by the entire team. The MO Bar deserves a special mention as well. The team there provided just the right amount of attention, and the cocktails were absolutely delicious. The ambiance was perfect for unwinding after a busy day, creating a relaxed yet refined experience. One of the highlights of our stay was dining at Cherry Garden. The space itself is beautiful, and the food was outstanding. The hospitality from Morgan, Eva, and Paolo made the experience even more memorable and ensured it was a fitting end to the visit. Though our time at the Mandarin Oriental Singapore was short, we felt incredibly welcome and looked after. We cannot wait to return to continue the culinary adventures in this vibrant city. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a luxurious and unforgettable stay in Singapore!
