We had a great experience at MO Singapore. My wife and I were celebrating our first anniversary and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and pampered. The rooms were fresh, clean and well appointed. We had access to the Club Lounge, Haus 65, which was amazing. Great food, drinks, ambience and staff. You won't want to leave!

For the money, we were expecting a lot more. The price for two aperol spritz by the pool was over 70 SGD! Breakfast was okay. However for the size of the hotel, I was surprised that there was no gluten free food on offer. I had to ask for some gluten free toast, and it took probably 20 minutes for someone to cut a slick and bring it to me. The bed was comfy, and the room was clean - although already showing signs of wear. The hotel is so large, that no one really remembers you. We felt more welcomed by the doormen than anyone else we met working in the hotel (bar, restaurant, spa). This is not the place to come if you want 5* personalised service.

We stayed for 2 nights to break our journey to Australia - I can honestly say it’s one of, if not the, best hotel we’ve stayed at. We had a club room with a balcony which was fabulous, Sarah, Justin and all the staff in Haus 65 were beyond superb, the food was amazing ( thank you to the chefs who we never saw) The atmosphere in Haus 65 created by the staff with their discrete but attentive service was fabulous. We also made use of the free limo, which was an electric Porsche superbly driven by Eric who we thoroughly enjoyed chatting to on the journey. We couldn’t fault Nizman or any of the front house team who were so friendly and efficient. We had a fabulous meal at Dolce Vita and a lovely cocktail in MoBar again being served by premier league staff. All in all a top class stay with top class staff ( in our opinion better than the staff at the hotel up the road with the iconic infinity pool ) Thank you to all the team at the Mandarin Oriental … you are outstanding

First time back at the MO Singapore since the refurbishment, and it was a really pleasant surprise. The entire place is brightened up, and it is so much more cheerful to step into the lobby. Reception team are friendly and warm as ever, and we felt right at home. This is why we will always keep coming back!

Check in reception was average, not very welcoming, Hotel appeared dated, getting the right comfortable pillows was difficult leading to very uncomfortable sleeps, dialling the temp on the air con was difficult as there was a lot of fluctuations in the room temp. Buffet breakfast wasn’t very Westernised although plenty of other foods on offer. Air con in complex appeared to be struggling the higher you went understandably possibly due to the glass roof. Standout was Rebecca at the bottom cafe who went over & above, she had a great personality & very informative as were the concierge. Pool was a good experience, very clean, water temp was nice. Very noisy from construction across the road, overall way too expensive & dated. Better options.
