Wonderful
Finding a hotel in Singapore can be a challenge—unless you’re willing to pay a premium, or settle for a tiny 11m² room with low reviews. Thankfully, One Farrer Hotel ticked all our boxes. From the moment we arrived, the service exceeded our expectations. We were pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade and a welcome drink, which set the tone for our stay. Even more thoughtful was the gesture for our anniversary—the next day, room service surprised us with a cake. Our studio suite was spacious and well-designed, featuring a comfortable lounge area and a separate toilet. The bathroom was generously sized, with a great shower, and the overall atmosphere was calm and peaceful—exactly what we needed after an 8-week journey. We dined twice at Escape Restaurant and enjoyed guest discounts on both occasions. The food was consistently lovely, making it an easy choice to return. The gym appeared very well equipped, and we spent a couple of relaxing hours by the swimming pool, which was a perfect spot to unwind. We’d happily return to this excellent independent hotel.

Still (nearly) perfect after all these years
I gave a 5 star rating when I stayed here the same month, last year. The hotel is still (nearly) perfect. The room is as new, as comfortable, as great, as clean. The one issue I raised before remains. The bathroom has a fixed single glass pane with no door and the handheld shower still requires some careful twisting to avoid wetting the entire area outside the bathroom. I wish they would address this and achieve perfection.

Dinner at Escape, One Farrer Hotel
Dinner at restaurant Escape. I'd lamp shank; very very tender, with a glass of shirax. My wife had crac mac n cheese and my son had new tandoori chicken with naan bread.ALL excellent! Served by Mr. Hardeep with a big smile whom elaborate on the food we ate and serve by Ms. Adele as well.
