I love this place’s comfy space and have been visiting regularly. Had dinner here today and was actually very disappointed in the service from the staff in general, including their manager, Raj. Service was subpar and unbefitting of a 5-star hotel. Other than coming abruptly to inform me that we cannot specify doneness of the steak, the manager was also defensive and rude when we were asking about a main course that hadn’t arrived when others on the table had already finished theirs. The saving grace of the night (& of this team) is the superstar Sufian. He gracefully and professionally offered service recovery and continued to check in and take care of us for the rest of the night (when the fault wasn’t his at all in the first place). His genuine warmth and generous hospitality is what every service staff should aspire to be. If a leader was of his caliber, the team would definitely be able to achieve great things. Thanks Sufian!

The food was absolutely delicious! Every dish was cooked to perfection, with wonderful flavours and excellent presentation. We can really taste the effort and passion that Chef Eric put into the cooking. We had a wonderful dining experience, thanks to the excellent service provided by the restaurant manager. Manager Vincent was friendly, approachable, and attentive to our needs, making us feel welcomed and well taken care of. Great customer service like this truly makes a difference. We booked Pan Pacific Singapore in early August for a four-night stay in October. Unfortunately, upon arrival we discovered that the swimming pool, children’s play area and poolside restaurant/bar were all closed for renovations throughout our stay. We received no advance notification of these closures, despite booking more than two months earlier. Had we known, we would unquestionably have booked elsewhere. An alternative swimming pool is available at a neighbouring hotel, but guests must be escorted there by staff, with transfers every 15 minutes. This is not equivalent to having a pool within the hotel, particularly when travelling with a three-year-old. Our room also has an unpleasant mouldy smell, which we made the hotel aware of immediately after checking in. Perhaps most disappointing has been the response from management. Despite three emails and a telephone call to reception, during which we were assured our concerns would be passed to the duty manager, we have received no acknowledgement whatsoever. We specifically chose this hotel for its facilities, the issue isn’t monetary; it’s that we weren’t given the opportunity to make an informed choice.

We had a good experience dining at Hai Tien Lo for a private lunch event. Restaurant staff provided great support and food was great and served promptly. Special thanks to John, Frankie, Kelly and Mabel of Hai Tien Lo for making sure that everything was in place for our lunch event.
