PARKROYAL COLLECTION Pickering

My family stayed here for 3 nights it was amazing, from the moment we walked in we were greeted with smiles and a warm welcome! The hotel is clean and smells great. The breakfast was fantastic! The hotel is in a great location walking distance to the waterfront and MRT lines. We highly recommend this hotel.

From the moment we checked into our room, we were warmly welcomed with a personal note, which immediately made us feel special. It may be common but seeing our name displayed on the TV was a thoughtful touch that added to the overall charm of the stay. The hotel itself is impeccably clean and carries a refreshing, signature scent throughout. We requested for baby bathtub but to no avail. Instead, they provided baby toiletries travel kit, which made my next trips traveling with a little one much more convenient. The location is highly convenient, just a short walk to the MRT station and within easy reach of Chinatown, where you’ll find plenty of tourist attractions and beautifully designed, Instagram-worthy shoplots. There’s also a hawker centre right behind the hotel, offering a wide variety of local food, including a Michelin-starred stall famous for its wonton noodles. Being Malaysian indulged in variety of delicious food, the Michelin rated wonton noodles score only 4/5. Breakfast in hotel was a highlight. The buffet offered an impressive variety, including Japanese, Chinese, and Western options, along with a wide selection of pastries and a fresh salad bar featuring homemade yogurt. The homemade yogurt is surprisingly delicious with the condiments which can be added at own choice. For families traveling with babies, one area for improvement would be the option to have a bathtub or a high chair provided in the room, which would enhance comfort and convenience. Overall, it was a memorable and comfortable stay, and I would gladly recommend this hotel for its thoughtful service, cleanliness, excellent dining experience, and strategic location.

Overall the stay was fabulous. This is my fourth time staying in ParkRoyal Collection Pickering. This time the staycation at ParkRoyal Collection Pickering was to celebrate my father's birthday. The stay was from 13 Marchto 15 March. First when I arrived, I was attended by ManLi at the counter. I booked four club rooms in total. I told her that it was my dad's birthday and was given a room upgrade to a suite. Really need to thank ManLi for giving me a suite near the lift. This was very thoughtful of ManLi given that my dad requires a walking stick for walking. Moreover the view from the suite was very good as it overlooked Hong Lim Park. I was really appreciative of this. Thank you ManLi. Second, this is one of the few hotels that served physical newspaper as my parents prefer physical newspaper over the digital copy. Need to thank Brent for bringing the newspaper to all the rooms for my parents that day. In addition, Brent brought a birthday cakefor my dad, who was in his room. My dad was very appreciative of the cake. Thank you Brent. Thirdly, I was very appreciative of Jetrix and Anna from the executive lounge. Jetrix took a family photo of us and place it in a ParkRoyal Collection folder. This was a very good souvenir for the family. This is the personal touch of Jetrix that make my dad's birthday celebration a memorable one in ParkRoyal Pickering. Jetrix aslo gave him a bottle of red wine as a gift. Anna was also very available to serve my parents and my family cocktail when required. Really appreciate in Jetrix's and Anna's help in making the birthday celebration a memorable one. Fourth, the executive lounge has improved a lot since my last visit in October 2025. There is hot food now. For dinner, I remembered Edmond was there to cook lobster Risotto. It is very nice. Sorry I can't remember the lady chef who cooked the beef slices (on 14th March evening). Picture below. The food is good. Need to give them credit. The food spread in the executive lounge has greatly improved indeed and would recommend people to go. Finally I want to thank Lian Teo and Sako from Lime restaurant. My family and I went to Lime for breakfast. Sako was ever ready to take our coffee order. Lian Teo was quick to remove the plates after each round. Can see that they are really hardworking. In conclusion, the staycation is fabulous. Thank you to the staffs, who make it a memorable one.
