A huge thank you to Wei Cheng, our banquet manager, for going above and beyond to make our wedding dinner such a memorable and seamless experience. He was incredibly proactive, attentive, and always one step ahead in anticipating our needs. His professionalism, genuine care, and willingness to go the extra mile gave us complete peace of mind on such an important day. We truly appreciate everything Wei Cheng did for us and would highly recommend him for his exceptional service!

Great green hotel. I’ve always admired this hotel when in Singapore but never stayed here before. Lots of lush greenery and ponds on all levels and the pool On level 5 is fantastic. Nowhere near as large as the Marina Bay Sands pool, but reasonable views and never crowded so was great for an afternoon dip and relax. The pool toilet block was connected to the spa, so you could use the steam room whenever you wanted to. The gym was reasonably well set up and overlooking the pool and its views. The property has only one big and busy restaurant. We had the great breakfast buffet here and we ate à la carte one night although the big crowd drawcard was the lobster buffet. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was smallish but fine and because of how they’d done the bathroom with a big sliding door, opened out into the wet area with separate bathtub, shower cubicle and toilet cubicle. Top marks for providing a filtered drinking water tap in the room. Small fridge/minbar was one time free, although the selection was limited and full sugar coke/sprite and 1 beer. The hotel is well located. Very short walk to either Clarke Quay or Chinatown stations. Over the road from Chinatown point mall with its heaps of restaurants. Nearby China lane and club st. Only a 10 minute walk to Boat Quay and about 15 to Merlion park. Major bus routes opposite the park. I’ve stayed in Singapore probably about 10 -15 times and found this the best combination of luxury, location and amenity so far. The only negative was the loud jackhammering during the day. We asked the hotel and they said it wasn’t them, so it must have been the building behind. It stopped at 5:30 so didn’t bother you if you were out, but you could hear it by the pool and also the room during the day my wife was in bed with Gastro. If it wasn’t them, there’s probably nothing they could do about it, but I was convinced that they were doing work on Level 6 which caused the noise and it it was them, they could have warned us about it beforehand.

It was absolutely a great experience. Swiss Teow showed the hotel facilities and even helped taking pictures! We soon will be back!

James at the lobby bar was welcoming as well as entertaining. He went above and beyond making our experience memorable. His passion for what he does and why he does it sets him apart. Above that he is a kind and caring human. We are grateful and wish him well.
