Raffles Hotel Singapore

Wow! What a fabulous hotel - we have stayed in some of the world’s best hotels and I think Raffles has to be my favourite yet! Beautiful colonial style hotel - with deluxe suites - absolutely breathtaking. We had a couple of issues with butler service as it was non existent so I’m not sure why they bother.. but that was our only issue. We ate in the courtyard for our first relaxed dinner and drinks in the famous long bar for a Singapore sling - fabulous staff and atmosphere at both. Our second night we ate out and got taken in the raffles Rolls Royce which was a lovely treat.. followed our last night in Raffles steak restaurant which was super high end and fabulous service. Breakfast was a total joy, relaxing à la carte menu with a continental buffet - all exceptional quality.

I decided to stay at the Raffles Hotel after a long held dream of mine since the last time I visited it was many years ago and just for a drink there. It was absolutely worth the long wait as my stay there went beyond my expectations, the hotel is steeped in history and the architecture is stunning. The staff there all go above and beyond and the service I received was beyond first class. I feel that my stay here is one I will cherish until the day I die. If you only stay in one exceptional hotel in your life Raffles is the one.

I have always wanted to visit this iconic hotel and it didn’t disappoint.We were in a courtyard suite which was roomy beautiful and within easy access of all hotel facilities We had pre booked the butchers block and the tiffin room for dinner both of which were superb for food and service The tiffin room breakfast which wax included in our room rate was amazing Raffles is an iconic hotel which sits in the midst of much younger high rise buildings holding its own as a beautiful contrast Every member of staff we interacted with went out of their way to make our experience special I can’t recommend it enough Just go!

Phenomenal place ! Exceptional service ! No wonder it’s one of the top hotels in the world. Everything was just sublime and the service first class. Could not fault anything ! Will definitely return. Highlight was the exceptional history tour with Nazir Yusof. Such a knowledgeable and distinguished gentleman. So many fascinating stories about The Hotel’s history and fascinating Heritage. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend anyone visiting the Raffles Hotel to complete the Heritage Tour with Mr Roslee. Roslee was kind, considerate and knowledgeable. He is passionate about the history of Raffles and you walk away seeing so much of the hotel, as well as a new understanding of its past and significance of various areas/features.
