Stunning hotel and service, with one letdown
We stayed at the Grande Dame of Singapore and it delivers from the second you arrive. The doormen gave us an incredible welcome and the hospitality never lets up. The hotel is amazing, genuinely a must-see. Our suite was great: gorgeous bathroom, super comfortable bed. Cool detail from the 2017 renovation. They added all the latest tech to control the lights and curtains, but kept the old remotes too, as a nod to the hotel's heritage. Gives the room a really special vibe. Butler service is top notch. Gym and pool area are both very nice, and breakfast is great. The buffet isn't huge but you can order from the cart, and the fluffy pancakes, they're a must. My one disappointment with the Raffles team: I'd broken my hip just before arriving, and the only thing I really needed was a late checkout so I could rest in the room before heading to the airport. Sadly they asked me to leave the room at 13:00. Everyone was lovely and attentive throughout our stay, so it was a shame this one request, which mattered a lot given the circumstances, couldn't be met. Even though they promised me to find a solution which works for everyone, they opted for a solution which worked only well for them. But still an amazing hotel. If you want heritage and a real sense of occasion, this is as good as it gets.

What a wonderful service by your doorman Narendra Walia always greeting us with a smile and helpful information to help us get around . Also a mention to another most helpful door man by the name of Happy both these gentleman are an absolute credit to the hotel .

Best Doorman in Singapore!
Harpreet was very polite and courteous! One of the best welcomes we have received from our visit to Singapore! A credit to Raffles! He pointed us in the right direction to the lounge bar and on the way out arranged a car for us to take us to the next destination
