First-Class
Really first-class hotel with friendly & efficient staff. Apart from the delay in checking-in (would be helpful if Horizon Club members were promptly guided to the 24th floor) we had an excellent 4 nights at the Shang. Our room was perfect and the advantages of staying at the Horizon Club is absolutely worth the slightly additional costs. I won't single out any member of staff, as all of them are so great. Breakfast was delicious, along with cocktails & nibbles between 5 & 7pm. Thanks guys - we'll be back!!

Great service at breakfast
We had a great experience at breakfast today thanks to outstanding service by Mr Sunil Kumar at the restaurant. He was receptive to our needs and was very efficient and hospitable in his service. It was nice to sit outdoors next to the pool for breakfast.

If you want to be 5 star you must be consistent in service
It’s is not what it used to be. They got used to be nr 1 and now service is taken for granted. Lobby service v bad. I am dissatisfied and disappointed. They are nice to the travelers but if you are a regular customer service is different, then what the point of the membership?

Gem in Singapore, great service and accommodations
The service is amazing. Front desk are a cheery lot who go to great lengths to help, assist and make your stay an amazing experience. Went to great lengths to give me insights on visiting the city. They are always out there waiting to help. The rooms are small but very comfortable and well set up with a desk to work. Very impressed by the location, service and ambiance. The breakfast is a must do with incredible international variety accompanied by excellent service. Got a massage at the spa and the person worked all the knots out of my neck, calves and upper back. Would certainly go back.

First time & Memorable experience.
We had been into different Shangrila properties but Shangrila Singapore has been the best so far. We met the best staff namely Wency from Guest Relations. He is so helpful and very professional. His energy and grace at the lobby was amazing. We had so much fun at the Buds & Splash too. So friendly staff too. Definitely a 5 star hotel.
