Shangri-la Singapore Excellent once again

My wife & I thoroughly enjoy our times spent staying at the Singapore Shangri-la. We enjoy the personal attention that we receive from ALL of the staff from the moment we arrive at the driveway, foyer, checking in at the Horizon Club floor, having great breakfasts in the Horizon Club or the huge 3rd floor dining room with a great selection of all variations of great food. We always enjoy the Happy Hours in the Horizon Club Lounge from 5-7pm too with great personal service & Chef's specialties. The rooms & beds are very clean & comfortable. There is also a free shuttle bus that runs from 10am to 4pm every hour to & from the main shopping district. We would like to thank all Horizon Club staff and in particular Gian, Viola, Reina, Zoe & Syahira. Leon & Jennifer

Shangrila has always been perfect for families specially with toddlers. We love the splash and that they have buds. Hopefuly buds should be free for guests with toddlers like how the gym are free for adult guests. Special thanks to carlo from the bell desk he makes sure we get our luggages on time and our deliveries in safe keeping.

We had a very beautiful stay in the hotel. Shangrila embodies the beauty of Singapore. Great hotel with helpful staffs but one staff STANDS OUT! WENCY as lobby ambassador is the best. He is smart, friendly and very relatable. He speaks well and cares for the guests especially to us. Thank you to the hotel and to Wency who has been the SMILE & SHINE of the lobby everyday. We will definitely come back soon!!! Everything is perfect.

Great hotel staff superb

Just stayed in a club junior suite and we were not disappointed. The staff are superb in this hotel and can not do enough. We were pleased we went with a club room as breakfast and evening drinks were included in the horizon lounge and the staff there go above and beyond especially Gian. The hotel is ideally located for orchard Road but is a taxi ride away from the marina

Very disappointed in Valley Wing

Solo travelers not welcome I am here at this hotel which was previously my favourite. However things have changed and not for the better you pay a premium rate for the formerly quiet and relaxing Vallwy Wing but today this became a loud and noisy. children’s playground in the lobby where afternoon tea is served. As. a solo traveler I have been made to feel unwelcome and uncomfortable by a staff member in said lobby. I was asked/told I needed to move as I was seated at a table for 4. I only sat here as there appeared to be nowhere else. It then transpired that the person I was made to move for was only with one other guest so he moved from a table for 2 to a table for 4 (and was in fact solo for some time).Meanwhile I was.seated at a tsble for 2 where he had previously been. Where is the logic? This hotel which I loved has now lost a loyal customer along with others who had previously been recommended to stay. I must say that other staff members were extremely apologetic but of course the damage had been done. Clearly I didn’t matter and my money isn’t as good as that of others. Needless to say I shall not return.There are many other hotels in Singapore of a good standard,
