Review of our stay at the St Regis Hotel Singapore

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

We had a wonderful stay at the St Regis in Singapore. The hotel is just lovely and in a very central location. The food at Yan Ting restaurant was excellent. The staff were so friendly, warm and attentive. They made our stay so comfortable and we can't wait to go back. We wanted to say a particular thank you to Yu Hui (at the front desk), Raja (front of house/lobby), Kamal Hossen (senior sous chef, who made porridge especially for our daughter at breakfast) and Louis and Nick (in Yan Ting restaurant).

Renovations occurring

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

Not impressed with St. Regis, Singapore. We were never informed that renovations were happening which removed the Astor restaurant and breakfast was held in a meeting room. Drywall everywhere in the entrance and hammering happening during the day. We were compensated by receiving ear plugs. Furthermore, we got an adjoining room and called front reception to change rooms based on the fact we could hear our neighbors loud and clear and were told no availability in our category. Turn down service on our first two nights was between 5:30 and 6:00pm which was too early and never experienced that at any other Bon Voy hotel. Our final night we had to call at 8:30pm for turn down service so very inconsistent nightly turn down service. We waited a long time when we ordered ice from the butler. I was really disappointed with the service especially from a platinum lifetime member. Otherwise, the room was beautifully appointed but service was lacking.

Top Tier Luxury Hotel, Orchard Road, Singapore

My wish list is to stay at The St. Regis all over the world, so I deliberately decided to go through Singapore on my trip to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The check-in at The St.resis was 1:00 a.m. the next day and I had to take a flight to Ho Chi Minh at 5 p.m., so I stayed at hotel for about 13 hours. But I was very satisfied with the service of The St. Regis Singapore which was more meticulous than when I stayed in St. Regis New York* Maldives*Venice. In the bed of the room, which I arrived at dawn after a long flight, two elegant swans welcomed me, and the omelette with caviar served at breakfast was of the same quality as the Michelin restaurant's. The St. Regis Singapore provided the cocktail hours(2 glasses of drink per person) to the Marriott Platinum*Titanium* Amber members at the wonderful and noble ASTOR BAR plastered with Picasso's work, and it was a meaningful time to heal my disappointed heart because my stay at The St. Regis Singapore was too short.  I would like to express my gratitude to JISU HONG (Guest Relations Supervisor) for taking care of my short stay with the best service, as well as the room decoration before check-in and saw me off to the airport after check- out.

thanks to the wonderful services from Jisu Hong, we had a wonderful time at the St.Regis Hotel in Singapore.. .she always went out of her way to make our stay the best it could be...room was renovated and had everything we needed...the butler service was lovely....coffee in the a.m. and clothes pressed....we had the complementary champagne most nights.... make sure you are there at exactly 6:30...location was great for botanical gardens and shopping.... the renovation noise wasn't a problem, but would have preferred to see the finished product.... thanks for a great stay😃

Elegant Comfort

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

The St. Regis Singapore was all about elegance and style. Our Specialty Suite was spacious, with a walk-in closet and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the city skyline. Breakfast was excellent. Many dishes were made to order. The Epicurean Omelette and Eggs Benedict were definitely worth trying. I asked for a St. Regis teddy bear through the Marriott app, and the staff brought it to my room right away. A simple gesture, but it made the stay feel even more special.
