Conrad Singapore Orchard

— Conrad Singapore Orchard Hotel has always been one of my favourite spots for weddings. Its bright and expansive atrium that brings in ample skylight, the four iconic glass elevators running from the centre of the building and the spiral staircases – it's always been a delight to photograph weddings here at the Conrad Singapore Orchard. This was my first visit since the hotel changed from being The Regent to it becoming the Conrad. Though it is now a Hilton the hotel much as it was previously. That is good because i thought very highly of the Regent and stayed there many times over the years. The breakfast spread remains probably the best of any hotel i have visited. allow 90 min to cover most of what is on offer, it us really wasted on me but my wife gets over an hour head start just so she can take her time. In so many western hotels the breakfast cost is not matched by the choice offered so i rarely take it. If staying here you must take breakfast and allow yourself plenty of time to enjoy it. The hotel rooms have been freshened up but no real changes, several weddings on at the weekend which is lovely to see. The Manhattan bar remains as it was though not quite as busy with locals . If visiting you do need to get a night cap from the bar . The location is good, the MRT ( subway) has now opened about 300m away so easy to get down to Clarkes Quay etc . The staff remain top notch. Hopefully we get back to Singapore again on a stopover and we will visit again.

Lovely hotel, so much better than expected given just off Orchard Rd. We had one Club Room for the parents and one for our three kids 9, 12, 13. Even though the rooms weren’t next to each other, felt very safe in this hotel. Massive rooms, well maintained. Breakfast was great (though perhaps a bit more variety each day would have been better). Whilst the pool is small, it is nice, and had a great deep section - the deep section is roped off, but my wife and I had to assist a family in a spot of trouble who didn’t realise it was a deeper section. Lovely Christmas decorations over the period. Would definitely recommend this hotel. We are now at Shanghai La Sentosa, and not nearly as nice.

Took my family, which is recently growing 8 adults, to Sunday afternoon Tea at 1500-1700 at the Conrad Hotel in Singapore for a special family Xmas event. We have been several times before, but this time it was exceptional, great service from Yoon and team. Wonderful fresh, delicious food, including Christmas Turkey and ham, Roast Beef, delightful Laksa, various cheeses and deserts and fresh ice cream for the kids. In addition, the staff brought out a pizza for the kids and some delicious sweet roast pork and then to cap it off, i received a 10% discount as a Hilton rewards member and free parking. Overall, a wonderful experience and one we will go back for.

Firstly the bar serves great cocktails and service. Nice ambience the staff very accommodating, cannot get thier name to mentioned in here. The presentation of the drink is good and very creative. Will be back and thank you for everything.
