wonderful stay at Conrad Singapore Orchard. The hotel offers a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and excellent hospitality. The rooms are spacious, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed for both business and leisure travelers. The staff is exceptionally courteous and attentive, always ready to assist with a warm smile. The location is convenient, with easy access to key attractions and shopping areas. The dining experience was also impressive, offering a wide variety of high-quality cuisine. Overall, it was a delightful experience, and I would highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and premium stay in Singapore.

Stay for just one night before a flight home, but wish it was longer. The staff was great and they have one of the best executive lounges! Shout out to Miroshini D. in the Executive Lounge. She is a gem! Recommend if you want to be near Orchard Road, but not near all the craziness. There is a mall next door with couple grocery stores, and kids play areas.

I usually stay at other major luxury properties in Singapore and was expecting a standard, classical business hotel here, but it was much more than that. The entire experience was flawless from start to finish. The service is top-tier and the maintenance of the property is excellent. The rooms are great and contrary to some comments I had no issues with the bathroom size at all. Even the in-room dining was fast and of high quality, which is often a weak point in large hotels. The team here has definitely proven that this is the place to be when looking for something outside my usual rotation. Huge thanks to the crew for making it worth the visit.

📍 Location: (4/5) The hotel enjoys a convenient yet slightly tucked-away position in Singapore's prestigious Orchard precinct. It's approximately a 5-minute walk to Orchard Boulevard MRT station, and two bus stops nearby – including Bus 36 which goes directly to Changi Airport. The neighborhood strikes a nice balance: quiet and serene despite being close to the action, but note that walking to the main Orchard Road shopping belt takes a bit longer (15~20 mins) . The hotel itself is low-rise, so don't expect sweeping city views from most rooms. 🏛️ Design & Public Areas: (4/5) This property has quite a history. The "old money" aesthetic is immediately apparent, and for architecture lovers, the atrium is genuinely impressive. The interior features a dramatic 12-story central atrium with a glass roof allowing natural light to flood in – elevators sit in the middle like elegant birdcages, connected to guest room corridors via suspended walkways. The lobby is stunning, and the orchid displays near the elevators are beautiful touches that nod to Singapore's national flower. Executive Lounge: (2.5/5) – Disappointing by Conrad standards. The lounge itself is quite limited – both in terms of food/beverage offerings and physical space. One evening around 9:30 PM, staff had already begun clearing tables and stacking chairs on furniture, signaling an early end to the lounge experience. This feels below par for a Conrad property. 🛏️ The Room: (3/5 – A Mixed Bag) The Good: * Spacious by Singapore standards – rooms are generously sized with comfortable layouts * Bedding is predictably comfortable (Conrad standard), ensuring good sleep quality * Air conditioning operates very quietly – a rare and appreciated feature The Bad (and this is significant): * Bathroom is shockingly small – easily the most compact I've experienced in any Hilton or Conrad property * No bathtub in executive rooms (possibly the only Hilton/Conrad executive room I've seen without one) * Poor layout: after placing a bath mat, the door can barely open without obstruction * No wet/dry separation – the entire bathroom is essentially one wet zone * No hairdryer outlet in the bathroom – you're forced to use the outlet at the foyer/bar counter, which is absurdly inconvenient * No in-room bottled water – the hotel promotes environmental sustainability by providing a direct drinking water tap instead . While the intention is understandable, in Singapore's tropical climate, guest comfort should take higher priority. 🍽️ Dining: (4/5) Breakfast: (3.5/5) – Perfectly adequate but unremarkable. The spread covers basics without much excitement. Hilton Honors Diamond members have a dedicated seating area, which is a nice touch, but the coffee quality was average at best. Summer Palace (3F): (5/5) – The Michelin-starred Cantonese restaurant is a genuine highlight . Their dim sum lunch is excellent – thoroughly recommended if you're craving authentic Cantonese flavors. 💁 Service: (2.5/5) This is where the stay fell apart significantly. Until the final day: (4.5/5) – Staff were generally warm, friendly, and professional. The final day disaster: (2/5) – At check-in, the front desk explicitly granted a 3 PM late checkout Around 12-ish on departure day, I received an email from the hotel asking if I was extending my stay, as they noticed my luggage still in the room After contacting the front desk, they admitted it was an internal miscommunication To make matters worse, housekeeping had not serviced the room that day (despite it being occupied until 3 PM) For a Conrad property, this level of operational breakdown is unacceptable. Late checkout confirmations should be logged systemically and communicated across departments – housekeeping, front desk, and management. The fact that I received an email questioning whether I'd checked out while my 3 PM late checkout was confirmed speaks to poor internal coordination. ⚖️ Overall: 3/5 The Conrad Singapore Orchard has genuine potential – the architecture is unique, the location is convenient yet peaceful, and Summer Palace is a genuine dining destination. Rooms are spacious and beds comfortable, but the bathroom design is a significant misstep for a luxury property. Also, the service inconsistency is a let-down. Would I stay again? Unlikely. While the property has positives, the bathroom issues + operational failure on departure day tip the scale toward trying other options in Singapore. 💡 Tips for Future Guests: Room Selection: If you book, manage expectations on bathrooms – they're small and oddly configured Water: Bring a reusable bottle and use the tap in-room, or be prepared to request bottled water Late Checkout: If granted, confirm again with front desk on the morning of departure (sadly necessary given the experience)

We had a lovely stay, wish it was longer. Everyone was so courteous and nice, Fiqar and Jolene were amazing in taking care of us and made our stay special. The lounge is wonderful. We hope to visit this Conrad again soon. Thank you
