Beautiful hotel, would recommend booking the rooms with club access. The breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner/cocktail times were convenient, generous and enjoyable. Nice area to chill out when needed too. Helpful, friendly staff, who were there every time we were in the lobby if needed. Exceptionally clean, beautiful rooms - newly renovated in for our stay in August 2025. Would stay again

One that fails to live up to its name. Service was subpar—and worse, I found a cockroach in my room. After reporting the incident to the front desk that evening, the next afternoon a housekeeping staff rang my doorbell and said, “The front office asked me to check if you want to do a room move.” I declined, explaining I was checking out the very next day. A couple of hours later, a Duty Manager named Ana called to ask the same question. I told her no, again—mentioning that she could clearly see my check-out date in the system. The offer came across as a last-minute, inconvenient gesture, not an actual solution. Later that day, I ran into the floor housekeeper. She also asked if I was moving to a new room, as instructed by her manager. This marked the third time I had to repeat myself. Clearly, communication among staff was non-existent. The next morning, I went to the front desk to settle my bill and told the staff I’d still need to go back up to retrieve my bags. Once in the elevator, my key card stopped working. When I reached my floor, I found I was locked out of my room. The front desk had already checked me out—automatically deactivating my access. Rushing for the airport, I had to ask the floor housekeeper (thankfully she remembered me) to unlock the room. When I gave feedback to the same front desk staff, she just stared blankly—offering no apology, no acknowledgment, nothing. What a stay to remember. Communication and service recovery were a complete train-wreck. The hotel may have upgraded their hardware, but it’s clear they haven’t upgraded their software—nor their service standards. P.S. I’m not reaching out to you at singapore.grand@hyatt.com . I assume you don’t encounter many guests who find cockroaches in their room.

Good but expensive. Probably better options in the area - marketed as a high level premium hotel but a quite a few things which could be done better. High volume of guests means you probably won’t get the level of attention from staff that the price tag implies. Swimming pool area is good but understaffed, gym is great and the sauna spa area is nicely done. Food is great but then, the food is great in a hundred places within 200m of the hotel.

Great service. The hotel has been recently renovated and the rooms are large and very nicely decorated. Would stay there again!
