Amazing experience. Great view out of the hotel room balcony. Special thanks to Sharpe @ Florette for your impeccable service and attitude, we can’t wait to be back for our next stay (or just even to drop by for their tapas). Fully recommended 10/10

Stunning

We stayed for a night in a pacific club balcony king room, which included the club lounge access for breakfast and evening cocktails. The room is on the smaller side but there was a lot of clever use of space to make it seem bigger - seems well thought out. The balcony overlooking the garden was amazing with some comfy seating. 2 favourite things about the room were the ridiculously comfy bed and pillows and the Jo Loves toiletries - excellent selection of amenities. The hotel is visually stunning - we visited all of the different gardens and absolutely loved the unusual design. We used the club lounge for both breakfast and cocktails, and there was a great selection of food and drinks. Hotel location is really good and easy to get to the main attractions via public transport, and our room was so quiet. One minor point was on the facilities available for late check out. We were flying back to the UK at 3am and checked out in the morning - the only shower facilities were next to the pool and had no indoor space to sort out our cases etc before leaving which wasn’t ideal given it was really windy!

The hotel looks extremely beautiful from outside. However it doesn't feel like a 5 star hotel when staying in. Room cleanliness need improvement. Bedside table was disgustingly sticky. Left my mobile phone and use it the next morning to find my phone being stained. Mosella was fantastic because of the chef. Service staff needs more improvement. When asked about restaurant, don't seem to be sure about answering us. Florette is really beautiful too. But the gentleman with a hair bun looks like he had a bad day and was really unfriendly. We also saw him using his bare hand to put ingredients while making drinks. We decide to order wine instead after seeing that. After all the reception is the best. They were friendly and approachable. They were the saving grace during our stay.

Standing ovation

Pan Pacific Orchard, Orchard Road: There’s the Pan, and there’s the Pan Orchard. Beyond the luxury tag, award-winning Pan Pacific Orchard is a ‘space’ and architectural wonder; and a page ripped off the ultimate style guide – the skyscraper is nothing like you’ve ever experienced. Skyscrapers in Singapore induce awe but this scales new heights - therefore deserving of Prix Versailles recognition of “World’s Most Beautiful Hotel”. A true breathing space of wellness, “spoil me rotten”, elevated indulgence carved out in the dense urban concrete jungle. Certain floors hurl the architectural rule books out of the window – knocking out hunks of floors to the open air (at the expense of commercial gains) – so you gain social space in the heights. This is the genius and genesis of the daring originality and verve that permeates the entire hotel, down to every hairline detail. I’ve been to Florette, Mosella umpteenth times but have always stopped short at the pearly gates of the Club lounge. Until today. I’ll give a quick rundown of the spots here, but I must praise all staff and the impeccable service that matches the quirky and elegant architecture, and haute styling notes of the hotel. Plus, space is constantly redefined here, like a good book that reveals several layers after multitude rereads. From a corporate POV - to have a seamless, perfect customer journey is Mission Impossible. But they did it – special mentions of stunning service from the omni-present, super helpful and effervescent Amelia Matheson, the tireless sweet uncle porter who wears smiles as a permanent expression, the entire Club lounge crew and the standout service of beaming Kun. Club Room: Faultless and gawk-worthy. Luxe and quality run thick through as a theme in the styling, choice of furniture, down to the royal toiletries of “Jo Loves” – it feels like you’re slathering premium gelato onto your skin. Balcony extraordinaire is either an extended room with ziptrack down, or it opens to a bewitching vista of the tree of life that is best viewed in the evening (neon lit). Again, space is redefined and ingenious a concept as the bathroom is an open concept – until you draw the wooden doors to redefine space segregation. Fridge is reduced to a back aesthetic wall art versus the clunky whirring old thing. Don’t miss the marbled sink tap, tiles and premium finishings in your hurry to get to the pool – this is serious masonry and quality. Club Lounge – Where we spent most of our time and it weighs heavy on my conscience – to gym/pool versus almost-eternal lounge imbibe. 3-5 PM is teatime. 6-8 PM is canape and drinks (really, it’s dinner). Sleek looking with a choice of the plush AC interior or outdoor seating of a view of the billowing canopies, sunset and commanding neon-lit tree of life. Service here is outstanding from the crew and the curation of bites and drinks is sheer good taste. There’s a sampler of cocktails in 30 ML servings, or mocktails for you Gen Z’s. Make a beeline for the Altos Los Romeros French Cab Sav or a bubbly. It’s first-class-airline-esque pampering here. Bites are gorgeously presented, elevated like the height. Gym – Super sleek, serious state-of-the-art equipment from TechnoGym and we know they’re top of the line. Because they were our Super Star Sponsor of our last summit. We had the honour of working with . It’s more than a workout here – it’s precision wellness. And oh, the gym overlooks the spectacular pool, splashing-people-watching fun. Pool – Scrap pool. It’s named “beach” at the area designated as “Cloud”. Space and the concept of pool is entirely redefined. Rooms with pool access connect to these heavenly concrete pods. “Beach” is a graduated oasis pool, that seamlessly connects to a lap pool and swim-up pool bar. True splendor is a look-up away – that mirror above reflects an island map of the pool view. Pacific Breeze – t’was a breeze until we tucked into the spicy and deep-flavour-bomb crab laksa. Then sweat beads rolled, and your tongue swelled. Lemon grass chicken wings are steeped rich in spices. Local eats are superbly pulled off here by Chef Boss Boz and you forgive them for the grand price tags. Again, we had superb, chatty and warm service here despite the bartender and staff being overwhelmed. On a design note, this is an imbibe pod like no other. An entrance that redefines an entrance, the circular bar design and plush seats set against the water affords a dreamy, floating ambience. Florette – I’ve reviewed this spot several times. “What a bar” I always remarked - clever pony trick of sultry lighting, jaw-dropping grand centerpiece of the bar lighting and the clean lines of furniture. Drinks are incredulous – try the Old Fashion. Anything but. Mosella – Reviewed this spot prior but this time for breakfast as we got out of our ivory Club Lounge tower. Come evening, mod-med rules but in the morning, Asian fare makes a grand entrance. Chef boss Boz is sociable, adept at changing hats and even presented us a piping-hot off-the-charts char kway tiao on the house that knocked our socks off. We’re pescatarians but made an exception for his hearty Asian fare. The restaurant was full house for breakfast and sheer madness – but the tireless staff constantly afforded smiles and swift service. St Gregory Spa – I promised the ladies Winnie and Anita I’d add in a sweet note. The experience is uplifting, massage strokes were perfect, the heavenly whiff of the aroma oil work in clockwork tandem knocking out the knots. The only wonder is why the spa is so small, like an afterthought. Pan Orchard is a destination unto itself - an invitation to check in and stay in. It’s a standing ovation.

Reality vs Pictures

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

First time staying here, I was super excited. When I booked online through the official website I wanted room with double beds, choose a room called “twin accessible premier room”, looked at the pictures and I liked it. When I checked in, I found that the room does not match the pictures online at all. Now I looked again through all their online pictures of all the rooms, and noticing matches the room I have. Online pictures of the selected accessible double premier room shows shower is separate from the toilet seat, but the room I’m in now July 2025 the shower faces the toilet seat which makes it impossible to use the toilet unless the floors are wiped. Please Pan Pacific Orchard post true pictures of all rooms so guest are aware of what they selected. Having pictures which do not match reality can be considered deceiving. I tried to request change of rooms but I was informed the hotel is full and impossible to move. I’m stuck like this for 4 days unfortunately. I hope the management consider my message and update room pictures to show the reality and help guests while selecting
