Sofitel So Singapore

My stay at QT Singapore was, unfortunately, very disappointing. The room was extremely noisy, poorly maintained, and quite dark. For a hotel presented as a five-star property, the lack of amenities was surprising. Both the corridor and my room were also filled with strong food smells coming from the nearby Lau Pa Sat grills, which made the stay uncomfortable. Breakfast was underwhelming as well—very limited, with only a small single dish included, far below what one would expect from a hotel in this category. On a positive note, the staff in the restaurant, housekeeping, and luggage services were absolutely wonderful: kind, friendly, and genuinely helpful. They were the highlight of the stay. However, my experience with the front office manager was the opposite. In my interactions, he did not greet guests, was not friendly, and did not offer assistance with luggage. His attitude came across as dismissive and pretentious, which left a very poor impression and significantly affected my overall stay. He is very rude. Sadly, I cannot recommend QT Singapore, especially given the many excellent alternatives available in the city.

Friendly staff, esp SYAFIQ, SAFRI and night manager: Alfonso! Our flight was delayed 5hrs from Sydney, so was pleased when we arrived after 10pm and travelling 14hours to be greeted by a smiling face, who were happy to make us comfortable! Also, no fear that the desk was unmanned as QT is staffed with baggage handlers 24hours! We frequent QT in Sydney so were very happy they are in Singapore as well! We lay over both ways to Europe to recover and complete any travelling admin! Recommend the roof top bar and pool. Thanks

This is my new favourite place to stay in Singapore. The staff were incredible from the moment they unloaded our bags for us from the taxi, the hotel is beautifully designed, and super thoughtful with the small touches (eg. The quality of hairdryer, access to shower caps, good quality shampoo). We loved the happy hour in the bar, the food and cocktails were outstanding, overlooking Satay Street. We can’t wait to come back.

We loved the location and the styling of the QT. Just opposite is huge assortment of cheap eats - e.g. hawker stalls selling dumplings / noodles / satay sticks. All so yummy. Also the staff in the bar, the concierge team and the rooftop bar staff were all so friendly.

I had to organise a drinks reception and was directed to QT Singapore by recommendation. I cannot begin to say how wonderful it was to work with their team. I filled out the form online and then was contacted right away by both Aaron and Maggie who helped me coordinate a fabulous reception and a room booking together. We are going to be heading back to Singapore next year and I look forward to booking through them again.
