Mamma Mia immortalized the Greek island of Skiathos, and Princess Resort Skiathos makes it possible to have a family vacation that’s equally unforgettable. The resort cultivates an effortlessly chic environment that caters to all ages, which recently earned it accolades from Harper’s Bazaar. It’s also a fave among A-listers (Skiathos’s powdery beaches and picturesque small towns really are movie-set perfect) and yogis: Along with sister resort Aegean Suites Skiathos, this is the only place in Greece to practice YogAqua, a fitness craze out of LA that combines yoga and stand-up paddle boarding

Checked into a family room with two double beds to find the room was tiny, we are a family of 3 adults & 1 teenager and we were on top of each other the whole time no room to get ready the beds took up all the space. The garden patio area was totally overgrown it looked like the grass hadn’t been mowed in weeks and the hedges were also a mess. We asked for extra pillows but they never arrived & at bedtime found the room was FULL of mosquitos it was awful. My partner spent ages trying to kill as many as he could which must have been about 20 but we still woke up covered in bites the next morning, we had the patio doors closed most of the time too. Breakfast was also a let down, seriously don’t bother coming here if you have an allergy. I asked for some gluten free bread and it took almost an hour to turn up I had already eaten breakfast at this point. We ventured to the sea hoping for a better experience but sadly not, after a few minutes of being in the sea I started to itch all over and my skin was stinging really bad, this is not something I have experienced before, I ran to the shower to get the sea water off only to find I was covered in a rash, Swimmers Itch it’s known as, the sea water had no current & was stagnant causing this so no more sea for us. The whole Hotel looked dated a throw back from the 1980s and had no atmosphere at all. When you book 5 star you expect a high standard, I would say this more was more 3 star & we certainly would never return.

Hotel was really nice, clean and staff were excellent. Room was a good size with private balcony which was good for the evening. Towels replaced every day and beds made. The poolside and beach bar were serving very good quality meals. Quite expensive but you’re on holiday and should be expected. Service was quick and there was always plenty of staff serving and clearing tables. Tables/bar areas were always clean and tidy which was good to see. The pool was a fair size but we never used as we went to the beach just passed the pool. You can collect towels for the day at the pool and drop off when finished. Breakfast was really good, plenty of choices and all good quality, again plenty of staff and tables were always kept clean/clear of dirty dishes etc. reception staff were always very helpful and pleasant to deal with. The hotel is situated next to bus stop 16 and a few restaurants and super market so very happy with location. The bus trip into the port, (stop 0), was only 15/20 mins and roughly the same up to Koukounaries beach, (stop 26), last stop. The hotel grounds and communal areas were kept spotless. We had an excellent stay and would highly recommend for anyone thinking of staying at the resort.

This Hotel has everything you need for a relaxing and peaceful holiday! 20 minutes from the airport, and conveniently located by the no 16 bus stop, a Supermarket and a few restaurants. The rooms are spacious and clean. Huge choice of food for breakfast and lovely fresh fruit. I went half board and the food in the on site restaurant was excellent. There is no entertainment in the evening, apart from a really good singer during dinner. Massive shout out to the staff in the hotel! They are amazing! The young people on reception were fantastic, I was reunited with a jacket that I left on the transfer bus! Katie is really friendly and a great asset to the hotel. The beach is lovely, comfy sun beds, soft sand and clean sea, there was no problem finding a sun bed. The pool area is a smaller space and can be busy. Highly recommend Troulos beach which is a couple of bus stops away. I booked the island hopping trip with Elizabetta cruises which was amazing! 🤩 Skiathos town was extremely busy, and the buses get full! The other guests in the hotel where super friendly so thank you to everyone that was there the same time as me 🩷 I have booked to go back next year! 😊

We stayed at this hotel in June 25. We were met with a really warm welcome. The reception staff were so friendly and helpful, especially Konstantinos who went over and beyond during our stay. The hotel was extremely clean and our room spacious and comfy. The hotel is on the beach with plenty of beds. The breakfast was amazing, so much choice . All the staff were helpful, polite and friendly , a special thank you to Katie who welcomed us at breakfast every morning and is very informative about the island and the best places to eat/visit. There are plenty of tavernas on the door step . A fantastic hotel to relax at. We enjoyed it so much we have re booked for next year. Thank you all at Skiathos princess

Beautiful hotel, fabulous sun beds, delicious breakfast. Perfect setting, rooms well appointed, great shower. Very helpful and friendly staff. Zero stress. Stayed a week. Lots of nice places to eat nearby and a little shop for essentials. Bus stop just outside so perfect for getting into Skiathos town. Can’t wait to come back.
