Stunning grounds!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 17 hours ago

Superb stay! And, what stunning grounds! I'm a avid gardener and couldn't get enough. Just so charming! You can't help but be relaxed in that environment. Lots of luxury and smart design choices at every turn. Our room was spacious. Every person we encountered from check in, to dining and the pool were kind and very attentive. The pool maintained a really relaxed vibe even when it was very busy, something not all hotels can pull off. Fire pits throughout the grounds for cozy morning coffee or evening wine were a great touch. The whole place just has a sense of ease and calm.  Also, great location, very quiet but close enough to the square that tastings and restaurants were a quick walk for those there without a car or who don't want to drive. We would stay here again without even bothering to consider other hotels.

I'd five it six stars if I could

Best hotel experience in recent memory. And we are very (very!) fussy. Gorgeous grounds. Gorgeous rooms. Gorgeous pool (with big, free sunscreen dispensers and poolside service), fantastic staff. We went for 4th of July and they even shuttled us to fireworks and gave us blankets and lawn chairs to watch the display.

A Relaxing Wine Country GetawaY

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

My stay at MacArthur Place was exceptional from start to finish. The property is beautifully maintained, with lush grounds that create a peaceful and romantic atmosphere. The location is ideal—close enough to walk into downtown Sonoma while still feeling like a private retreat. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed with luxury touches throughout. The pool area was one of the highlights of our stay, offering a relaxing place to unwind between wine tastings and exploring Sonoma. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely focused on making our experience memorable. Whether you’re visiting for a romantic weekend, wine tasting, or simply to relax, MacArthur Place delivers a true luxury wine country experience. We can’t wait to return. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Pleasant surprise!

Just left our stay there and it was fantastic. One of the best stays ever. The facility is located perfectly, extremely clean and just beautiful. During our stay two of the top guys just happened to come by and see how we were. Marty Sullivan at dinner and Justin Wilson the GM as we were leaving. Clearly they care a great deal about the place, it shows. 100% I endorse a stay here. Nice work team.

Terrible experience.

We had a terrible experience in May at this hotel. This is especially troubling, given the amount we were charged. Not a great offering.
