The Ocean Club, Costa Norte, a Luxury Collection Resort

The property is beautiful and the location is perfect. We had a big, clean, very well appointed two bedroom suite. Floor to ceiling windows (two stories) were amazing. The pools, the beach, spa (I had a fantastic massage), restaurants / bars and all public spaces were immaculate and well maintained. Above all, the service was extraordinary. A great stay.

I truly cannot say enough amazing things about my stay at The Ocean Club Resort in Sosúa for my 30th birthday—it was nothing short of perfect from start to finish. Every morning felt like a dream. We started our days slowly, enjoying the most delicious fresh Caribbean fruit and warm, freshly baked pastries in the most peaceful, relaxing setting overlooking the mountains across the island. It was the kind of place that forces you to slow down and actually enjoy every moment. The highlight of the trip was hands down my private birthday dinner on the beach. The setup was absolutely stunning, complete with beautiful birthday balloon décor that made it feel so personal and special. Not another soul in site other than the chef and waiter. The food was incredible, and the entire experience felt like something out of a movie. The service throughout our stay was exceptional. The waiters and waitresses were beyond fabulous—so warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. The front desk staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was seamless. They were incredibly accommodating and truly made us feel valued and welcomed every step of the way. We were also lucky enough to receive a room upgrade, and it completely exceeded our expectations. Our luxurious three-bedroom suite was stunning—spacious, beautifully designed, and the perfect place to celebrate such a special occasion. I mean… I could shower while looking at ocean! No windows, just a wide open door overlooking the beautiful island hills, water, and beach.  The resort made everything effortless. Airport pickup and drop-off were flawlessly arranged, and we had a private driver who is employed by the hotel for the entire week, which made exploring so easy and stress-free. Beyond the resort, the charm of Sosúa made the trip even more unforgettable. The island scenery is breathtaking, and I loved experiencing the local culture—seeing locals on their motorbikes, stopping by small shops, and trying food from local stands added such an authentic and vibrant touch to the trip. This was more than just a vacation—it was a truly unforgettable experience and the perfect way to celebrate a milestone birthday. I would return in a heartbeat and recommend The Ocean Club Resort to anyone looking for a luxurious, relaxing, and genuinely special getaway.  From the bottom of my heart, thank you Ocean Club concierge staff (Enna Hernandez, Laura Jaimes, Melanie Oehlert, Savahna De Gracia, and any others I may have missed, everyone was wonderful!)

Our stay at The Ocean Club was truly exceptional from start to finish. We had a wonderful time enjoying the beautiful beach, warm sunshine, and relaxing atmosphere throughout the entire trip. The resort itself is very inviting, with well-kept grounds and a calm atmosphere that made it easy to relax. The food and drinks were excellent—each meal was fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared, and the beverage options, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, were equally impressive. What made the experience even better was the overall service and hospitality. The staff made us feel welcome and taken care of, which added to an already memorable vacation. We had a fantastic trip and would absolutely return. Highly recommend for families looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

Very private and quiet location. Perfect if you are a group of people and prefer privacy. The staff was excellent. Very welcoming, affectionate, attentive, always willing to assist you and your family with anything you needed. The suites were beautifully kept, cleaned and maintained. Every single location and staff within this resort deserves a 10+ rating. The food was absolutely amazing. The beach was beautiful and very private but when we go back again there which we will DEFINITELY do so, I will pick maybe a different month because the water was a little rough. We went there the first week of April so I would recommend to go in a different time. I don’t think they give this place enough credit online. When I was doing my research, couldn’t find much about it. But trust me this was absolutely a beautiful place with absolutely beautiful people, and I’m referring to their staff.

I love this private beach luxury property! We traveled there for our anniversary…and are glad we did! The staff and their attention to detail was outstanding! Our room was always maintained when we left the service request on our door. The housekeeping staff provided turn down service every evening while we were at dinner. The wait staff is super attentive and always super nice. They even recognized we had a favorite drink and offered it to us even before we had a chance to ask! The wait staff that worked at Baia, the pools, Sun Club and lounge spaces were always attentive and provided just the right mix of attentiveness without hovering. We throughly enjoyed the fresh food options at Baia Lounge and the Sun Club. The breakfast buffet had something for everyone. The grill master that cooked on the beach and at the Sun Club is amazing. The food was cooked and seasoned perfectly. When we were at the many pools/ jacuzzis we always had space and never felt crowded. The property was quiet and relaxing. During the afternoons on the days the Sun Club was open, there was a DJ that played beach vibe music that was just loud enough to create a vibe without disturbing guests. The room we stayed in was wonderful. The decor and finishes were perfect for a luxury beach stay. The property was beautifully maintained. You could see hotel management out and about with the other hotel staff monitoring and quietly directing. You could tell everyone enjoyed working at Ocean Club, cared about each guests needs/experience, and really wanted every guest to enjoy themselves. We loved our stay at Ocean Club so much, we will return again in the near future! We are going to be regulars—LOL!
