There is no fourth wall in villas at Ladera – instead, there is the jaw-dropping backdrop of the Pitons, two mountainous volcanic spires that attract adventure-seekers from across the world. A faint tropical breeze wafts from the Caribbean Sea far below through netting on a four-poster bed carved from polished tropical hardwood. Incentive to leave your room can be found in chef Nigel Mitchel's creative interpretation of traditional island fare – try the roast conch served with organic vegetables from the neighboring plantation.

We had the most amazing time at Ladera! The food, the rooms, and the service was exceptional. We had such a great experience with our waitress Sherma that we requested her for every meal. On property Ray (goat man) cut fresh fruit from their trees and provided them for us after our hike. And Alvin helped us on the trail on property to find the outdoor gym and tree house and gave us history of the property and the anmenities. Our bartender Jeremy at the hideaway was fantastic too. Highly recommend Ladera to anyone traveling to St Lucia!

HONEYMOONERS** Ladera and their entire staff have been incredible from the moment we got dropped off at the airport. The welcome drinks were delicious! (Add the spice.) We stayed in Villa La Fluer. It was a HUGE villa with the most incredible views (once in a lifetime). I was amazed every morning opening my eyes to the petit piton, it honestly felt like i was dreaming. Rohan & Daryl were our butlers and they were absolutely incredible, both of them went above & beyond for us. Housekeeping was on point as well and so sweet. They left us little goodies in a cute wooden carved ladera cacao every night on our bed, it’s the small things like this that truly showed how incredible Ladera is. We did the trail up to the top as well, can’t say it was easy BUT it was well worth it once you see the views from the top 😍. Don’t forget to check out Linus on Tuesday nights singing country music, i actually sent him the link to apply for americas got talent because we were all convinced he would 100% get the golden buzzer. The restaurant Dasheene had the most delicious food, it does take awhile to come out but that is because Nigel (the chef) makes sure every dish is made with love, so be patient and enjoy the views while you wait. The bar was amazing, i don’t drink alcohol but the Mango delight Mocktail was extremely YUMMY! My husband enjoyed the piton beer, pina colada, & the dirty banana. Shuttle to and from the beach was easy (10 minutes). FYI we are very high up and it does get a bit windy, pack a few things to keep you warm if you get cold easily. It has rained on and off but it stops usually stops in minutes. This is most definitely a come and relax hotel, we most certainly felt at peace and spoiled the entire time. I will be posting a full TikTok once we are back in the US and settled in.

This place felt like the Garden of Eden. And our Suite on Paradise Ridge was so private, we could wear the same amount of clothes as Adam and Eve. We went to sleep every night to the sound of frogs. It was romantic. And we woke up every morning to birds chirping. Don't be concerned about the sounds. They're so nice. And the stars. Wow. We're from Texas so the idea of no A/C scared us a bit but the breezes and room architecture made it perfect. We ordered breakfast to the room almost every day. And then are at the Dasheene restaurant for dinner most nights. One night we walked across the street to Choclat. It was great too. And another we stayed down at Sugar Beach and the resort arranged for a cab to take us back to the top.

I had a wonderful time celebrating my birthday lunch at Ladera Resort! The restaurant staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly, and the customer service was truly excellent. A huge thank you to Ninus, Shawnella, Jurgen, Jennifer, and Mariska, you all made the experience unforgettable!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our brunch at Ladera on May 4th, 2025. As nature enthusiasts, we were captivated by the picturesque view of Petit Piton. The food was delightful, and the service was exceptionally welcoming, making us feel comfortable and valued as locals—a refreshing experience we highly recommend and look forward to repeating.

My boyfriend and I spent a week at Ladera Resort in St. Lucia, West Indies, this past October. It is a beautiful resort with incredibly attentive and friendly staff. I would like to specifically mention Chef Orlando Satchell. He made an already special stay at Ladera even more wonderful. The room we stayed in was utterly incredible. The view of the ocean flanked by the Pitons, with the moon casting a path on the sea below was magic. It was an incredibly romantic, relaxing vacation which neither one of us wanted to end.
