Sugar Beach a Viceroy Resort

This place is absolute paradise. Positioned between two pitons, this resort is priceless. The service is unmatched to anything else in St. Lucia. We got married here a year ago and returned for our anniversary. The staff. Oh my goodness they are all gold. Otis on the beach went above and beyond. William is still here and we have been coming for four years. It is lovely to see the same faces, while the new faces are just as exceptional. Viceroy has done it again. Extraordinary service and property standards. Exemplary. Food is exceptional, dining team are above and beyond. We have stayed at other resorts in St. Lucia. The wait to be greeted or never greeted, the wait for food, not at Sugar Beach. The entire experience is seamless. Sugar Beach by Viceroy, by far is the best on the island. Maybe in the entire Caribbean. Worth every penny.

Our stay at Sugar Beach was an incredible experience. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the location which is undescribable between the two Pitons, the excellent dining and superior service. We had one of the Sugar Mill Suites, which is positioned perfectly between the restaurants, the pool and beach. One particular favorite for lunch was Jetty Burger. A beautiful walk from the main resort area to the jetty, and eating wonderful, juicy burgers over the water, while watching the boats glide by. Overall, a fabulous experience and highly recommended!

our stay at viceroy sugar beach was nothing short of incredible. we were completely blown away by the attention to detail, the level of care, and the overall cleanliness of the resort. every space felt thoughtfully maintained, and every interaction felt genuine. what truly made this experience unforgettable, though, was the people. the staff are some of the kindest, most genuine individuals we’ve ever encountered while traveling. their warmth, conversation, and care are the reason we already can’t wait to come back. a few people made an especially lasting impression—deborah, melanie, and anneta at boopas (truly the best coffee ever) greeted me every single morning with the warmest smiles and set the tone for each day. kittle at the chocolate making class was so engaging and clearly passionate about what she does—it made the experience that much more special. curtley was one of the most kind and respectful young gentlemen we met, with such wisdom and maturity beyond his years. otis with the beach staff was always attentive and timely, making everything feel seamless and relaxed. and kaysher, the supervisor at saltwood, was such a joy—we were lucky enough to see her both nights at cane bar as well, and her humor and kindness truly stood out. this resort is truly something special, but it’s the people who make it unforgettable. we cannot wait to return.

1. Most beautiful beach resort in “North America” 2. Food was off the charts, could not belief the quality of beef 3. Service was great especially our butler, Linus was a perfect balance. We have been coming since the early 1990s and it’s just gets better every time. This place is terrible don’t come!

one of a kind setting sandwiched in between the two Pitons...picturesque rain forest setting with private villas sunken into the hillside...staff is world class...Swamed makes the impossible possible... beach is gorgeous with two lush mountains on your left and right...good entry level snorkeling... food options okay and are a bit pricey... went for 15 yr wedding anniversary...this is as special of a place on earth that exists to spend with a significant other for a special occasion/celebration.
