This is our 4th time staying here. As always, the service is impeccable. We want to thank the staff, especially Mister Simah and Mr Xavier. Mr Xavier has made our stay unforgettable. He and his coconuts became a staple of our holidays. We are looking forward to coming back.

Our time at the resort was nothing short of magical, but what truly made it unforgettable was Simah. From the very beginning, he welcomed us not just as guests, but as friends, with warmth, sincerity, and a level of care that is rare to find. Every interaction with Simah was filled with kindness, attentiveness, and a genuine desire to make our stay perfect. He made sure every detail was thoughtfully arranged, always checking in to ensure we were comfortable and happy. It wasn’t just about service, it was about connection, and he made us feel truly seen and valued. There are many reasons we could come back — the beauty of the island, the luxury of the resort — but the reason we will come back is Simah. He is the heart of hospitality, and because of him, this place now holds a special place in our hearts. Thank you, Simah, for everything. You made our experience deeply personal and absolutely unforgettable.

Everything was amazing and the staff were very considerate and thoughtful. The water activities provider could be better. Some more food options. But overall a great stay! You would be lucky to have Saajid as your host during your stay!

What a charismatic resort where the beautiful serene setting captivates the mood and attraction to this charming place. Before talking about the resort i want to highlight the spectacular highlight of the trip. And i hope some seniors from the Anantara group reads this. The Spa and specifically Amr, the wellness rep. Having suffered with back pain for so many years i decided to give the wellness treatment a try. I have to say, having visited many Anantara and top class hotels across the globe, this treatment right here by Amr far exceeds any standards set from any hotel or treatment ive ever tried. So good i went from 1 treatment to booking the 5 day package. The treatment combined physio + massage. I am out of worlds at how much better my back feels. He really should represent well ess for Anantara on a global scale as the standard is not the same from hotel to hotel. I cannot articulate enough how spectacular the whole treatment package was. Kudos and thank you dear Amr. You are a magician. Now for the hotel. 3.5 islands allows you to hop from one place to the next. Picnic, dinner, main residence and private island, all of the islands has a peaceful appeal and you cannot help but give in to its tranquillity, allowing you to relax and be swept away to peace and calm. 7 restaurants all serving its unique delicious flavour. The pool is a very good size, whilst it looks small it really isnt and even at higher occupancy it was never crowded. Whilst the villas looks a little aged i personally feel it just adds to its rustic captivation. The rooms are so well maintained and positioned well to ensure easy navigation across the island. There are so many pockets of private spaces that gives you a bit of me time if needed. Another advantage of this island is the short boat ride from Male, for those that are not fans of seaplanes like me. And the staff, wow oh wow, the list is endless, Saeed, Pawani, Joker, all the staff at the kids club, i mean you guys are outstanding. Oh and all the staff at the thai restaurant, you guys gave such a Far east feel whilst we were there with your humour and down to warth personalities shining through. Last but not least, a million thanks to Kadir. Such an outsanting host and awesome human being. Thank you for everything. You see sometimes its not always about glitz and glam, weve stayed at Qasr Al Sarab many times, Jebel Akdhar and many Anantaras across the globe but this little gem right here really is one of the best so far. As we head onto Sti Lanka we will be staying in another Anantara and we are so looking forward to this too.
