Anantara Dhigu Resort & Spa

Having enjoyed our first stay last year so much, we returned to Anantara Dighu for a second and longer stay this year, and were delighted that it lived up to our expectations. While the convenient 30-minute speedboat transfer from the airport and the spacious villas, which could comfortably accommodate our family of four, were important factors in our decision to return, it was the people and their genuine hospitality that brought us back. We were especially delighted to have Kadir as our villa host again. Thank you, Kadir, for your genuine care, attention to detail, and for making our stay so seamless and enjoyable. Whether it was sharing the daily activity schedule, arranging dinner reservations, coordinating our move from the beach villa to the over-water villa, or promptly assisting with every request, you went above and beyond. Your warmth, responsiveness, and dedication made us feel genuinely welcomed and exceptionally well looked after throughout our stay. It was also lovely to be greeted by familiar faces from last year, and our children were thrilled to be remembered by so many of the staff. We were equally grateful to meet new team members whose warmth and hospitality made our holiday even more special. A heartfelt thank you to Amir, Maif, and especially Ella at Fushi Café for making breakfast a wonderful start to each day; Alim, Ooh, Bank, and Ravi at Baan Huraa for the memorable dinners and attentive service; Chef Mohamed for the entertaining teppanyaki experience at Origami, which our children absolutely loved; the lovely staff at Cumin for taking the time to explain the menu, recommend dishes, and patiently answer all our questions; the wonderful team at Aquafanatics for keeping us safe and confident during our water activities; and the teams at the Kids Club and Spa for helping make our stay so relaxing and enjoyable. Thank you to everyone at Anantara Dighu for another unforgettable holiday. We look forward to returning in the future.

Our first time in Maldives and Anantara blew us away. Everything from the moment we arrived was fantastic. We stayed in a sunrise villa and loved the direct access to the beach and lagoon side of the island. Activities both free and paid were great, food options (mix of restaurants) were delicious and catered well for gluten free celiac. The island itself (3 in total) were all so magical, constantly pinching ourselves. Overall it was the staff that made the holiday 5 stars. Especially our host Maazin. Thank you for such a memorable stay!!

The resort is great, the rooms and food are great, and my butler RAM is also excellent. He solves problems in time and helps us. It's a great trip. I look forward to seeing you next time.
