We chose Dhigu for our honeymoon, and it turned out to be one of the most beautiful and unforgettable experiences of our lives. From the moment we arrived, everything felt truly special—the stunning surroundings, the peaceful atmosphere, and the warmth of every single person we met. A very special thanks to our butler, Kadir, who went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. He was not just attentive and helpful, but genuinely caring. He was always there whenever we needed anything, making everything so effortless for us. The way he planned our days and guided us felt just like having a personal wedding planner by our side. Every recommendation he made was something we truly loved, and it made our honeymoon even more magical. This was more than just a holiday—it was a memory we will cherish for a lifetime. Every moment felt so thoughtfully arranged, and we felt truly taken care of throughout our stay. Thank you so much, Anantara, for creating such a meaningful and memorable experience for us. We are already dreaming of the day we can come back again.

The resort was the best I have ever been to and I have been to 34 countries. Stunning views and family friendly. Rooms amazing. Staff friendly and helpful.

Anantara Dhigu Resort was our first time in The Maldives but definitely not our last. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and above all genuinely knowledgeable and interested in us. The dining options were varied and very high quality, albeit a little expensive. The villas were a little tired in places however, this was to be expected of an older but very well established resort. The benefits of this were amazing plants and animals with plenty of shade from established coconut/banana trees. It was difficult to fault anything at all.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Anantara Dhigu Maldives Resort — Catching up with our friends from the UK, truly one of the best experiences we’ve had. From when we arrived, the staff were incredibly attentive, warm, and genuinely helpful. A special mention to our villa host, Kadir, who was simply outstanding. Nothing was ever an issue — everything was handled seamlessly, communicated clearly, and always with a smile. The rooms were cleaned by Omar, the villa was maintained to an exceptionally high standard every single day — spotless and well stocked with towels. A highlight of our trip was the nurse shark dive. Mustafa and his team were excellent — highly professional, knowledgeable, and clearly very experienced. As seasoned PADI divers, we felt completely safe and well looked after throughout. We also took the short boat ride over to Anantara Veli Maldives Resort, where we had dinner at the Japanese restaurant — a real highlight — and went back during the day to enjoy lunch and relax by the pool. The staff there were just as attentive and welcoming. Fire & Ice restaurant was right up there with the best we’ve experienced anywhere — outstanding steaks and a fantastic atmosphere. The food across the resort was consistently high quality — fresh and varied A truly special place. We couldn’t fault a thing and will definitely be coming back

Our 5th visit to the wonderful Anantara Dhigu. Considering we generally don’t go to the same place twice I think this speaks volumes about how much we love this island, the hotel and of course the staff too! You can expect a holiday where you eat well (there are several restaurants to choose from), sleep well in super comfy beds and enjoy spectacular views of white sand, blue skies and crystal clear waters. Each villa now has a host to help look after you during your stay and ours, Simah, was really excellent. From booking restaurants, spa packages or just picking us from our villa if we didn’t feel like walking, Simah was always available on WhatsApp. All the staff are so friendly and very attentive - we would like to call out Fadia and Ravi at the Baan Huura restaurant, Sauer, Auyesha, Shan, Lym, Amr at Fushi Cafe and Govinda Rao the Indian chef at Fushi Cafe. Thank you all for looking after us so well!
