COMO Cocoa Island, The Maldives

Our stay at Como Cocoa was truly incredible. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome by the warm, genuine hospitality of every member of the team. The exceptional level of service remained consistent throughout our stay. Our Dhoni Overwater Villa was beautifully designed, impeccably maintained, and offered stunning views across the turquoise lagoon. It provided the perfect setting to relax, with the hydrotherapy pool and tranquil surroundings making it easy to switch off and lose track of time. The food was outstanding. Every meal was beautifully prepared using fresh, high-quality ingredients, and there was an excellent variety throughout our stay. As a family of three, there was something for everyone. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the snorkelling excursions, while I made the most of the organised surf trips with Perfect Wave to the nearby breaks, which delivered some incredible waves. The house reef just outside our villa was full of vibrant marine life, making it a fantastic spot for snorkelling at any time. Our four-year-old son absolutely loved spending his days in the outdoor pool and swimming in sea. What really makes Como Cocoa special, though, is its people. The staff consistently went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of our stay was memorable, always delivering service with warmth, professionalism, and genuine care. If you're looking for a luxurious peaceful island escape, Como Cocoa is an exceptional destination. We can't wait to return.

We are very happy to stay here. Our villa is pretty inside and outside. Restaurant is big and food is delicious. The service is top level. Sulthan take care of us the whole stay and help us everything we need. Pooh call doctor when my daughter feel sick and talk to us always very friendly. Really thank them from my heart. We have our greatest holiday overall. I will tell my friends to visit here.

We had an outstanding stay at COMO Cocoa Island. It is a small, understated island, but it delivers exceptionally well on service, comfort and facilities. The resort has a calm and relaxed feel, without ever feeling like anything is missing. It is refined without being showy, and everything is done with care and ease. The single restaurant was all we needed. The menu changed daily, with plenty of fresh and healthy options, and the food was consistently excellent. The restaurant service was also spot on. The team, led by John, was outstanding. I would like to name every staff member, but I would be concerned about missing someone, which would not be fair. What stood out most was the style of service. It was never over the top, but always available when needed. Every staff member greeted us warmly, and everything was handled with grace and without fuss. Our overwater room was very comfortable and beautifully positioned. We could look directly over the reef and swim from the room when the tide was in. The bedroom was upstairs, overlooking a generous living area, the deck and the ocean beyond. The small touches were also appreciated, including the complimentary fruit, nibbles and soft drinks. We were provided with complimentary snorkelling gear during our stay, which we used often on the reefs around the island. Being able to snorkel so easily from the resort was one of the real highlights. We also arranged a boat tour to the shark reef and turtle area through Shimi at the Marine Centre. Shimi took us on the tour with other guests we had met at COMO Cocoa Island. The boat crew had towels and drinks ready for the trip, which was another thoughtful touch. The shark experience exceeded our expectations, and we were also fortunate to see turtles and an incredible variety of fish on the reef. It was a great trip and a memorable part of the stay. We were moving on to another resort after our stay, and the front office team coordinated directly with the next property to ensure we were met at the airport and transferred smoothly. It was another example of the thoughtful, seamless service that characterised our whole stay. COMO Cocoa Island is relaxed, refined and exceptionally well run. The setting is beautiful, the service is excellent, and the whole experience felt effortless. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.

This was our first trip to the Maldives, and it was truly amazing. The intimate, quiet atmosphere was perfect for us. All the meals at the restaurant were delicious, and the Italian cuisine was especially exquisite. The staff’s hospitality was also excellent. In particular, we were very happy that the woman from Myanmar who worked in the restaurant during breakfast and lunch went out of her way to communicate with us, even though we aren’t very good at English. We’ll definitely be visiting COMO COCOA ISLAND again on our next trip to the Maldives！

This is by far the best resort we have visited. From the moment we arrived, the staff were attentive, warm, and genuinely kind, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. Our villa was beautifully maintained and impeccably clean, with housekeeping servicing it twice a day. The food was exceptional, and we especially appreciated the attention to detail, many of the jams and sauces were made from scratch, which added a wonderful homemade touch to every meal. The views were simply breathtaking. Whether from our villa or any part of the resort, the ocean scenery, the beaches were picture-perfect and unforgettable. A special thank you to the team at the sea sports center for the guided snorkeling experience. The instructor explained everything clearly and patiently, making it easy for our daughters, aged 8 and 10, to understand the instructions and feel comfortable in the water. They absolutely loved snorkeling and had an amazing time. We spotted fishes, young black tip shark and sting ray just outside the villa. It was amazing. We wholeheartedly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a truly memorable, peaceful getaway. Thank you to the entire team for an incredible stay, we hope to return again soon!
