Beautiful island with amazing villas and excellent service. Kids Club is very friendly and kids enjoy their time over there. The beach is very niche. Super restaurants.

Our stay at the Waldorf Astoria Maldives was nothing short of incredible. From the moment we arrived, the service was absolutely amazing — every single staff member went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. The attention to detail, warmth, and genuine care made us feel so welcomed and relaxed from start to finish. The food was outstanding. Every restaurant delivered exceptional quality, beautiful presentation, and so much variety. It truly exceeded our expectations and made every meal something to look forward to. A special mention to the Stars Kids Club — without a doubt the best kids club we’ve ever experienced. Our children absolutely loved it and didn’t want to leave! The team was wonderful, engaging, and created such a fun, safe, and memorable environment. They made so many beautiful memories and new friends, which made our stay even more special as a family. Everything about this resort is pure luxury combined with heartfelt hospitality. We left with the most amazing memories and cannot wait to return. We will definitely be back again

The villa was simply stunning — spacious, elegant, and perfectly maintained. Every corner reflected comfort and sophistication, and waking up to the endless turquoise ocean felt like living inside a dream. The island itself is beautifully preserved, offering a perfect balance of lush greenery and crystal-clear waters filled with vibrant marine life. What truly makes this place extraordinary is the people. The service is not only professional but deeply genuine and personal — something that stays with you long after you leave. A very special and heartfelt thank you to our incredible team — Concierge Adhikko, Villa Attendant Nasid, and Supervisor Aappe — who made our stay truly unforgettable. Adhikko was always attentive and welcoming, ensuring every arrangement was seamless and stress-free. Nasid took exceptional care of our villa, keeping it immaculate and surprising us with thoughtful touches that made each day feel special. And Aappe, with such warmth and dedication, constantly went above and beyond, checking on us and making sure every moment of our stay was perfect. Their kindness and genuine care touched us deeply and created memories we will always treasure. Even now, we find ourselves daydreaming about our time in Ithaafushi. It’s more than just a resort — it’s an experience that stays in your heart. We cannot wait to return. The only way to describe our stay at the Waldorf Astoria Maldives is sheer perfection. It was our first time in the Maldives and this resort lived up to every expectation we had and more. The restaurants were all outstanding, the spa was beautiful and the snorkelling was fantastic (the nurse shark trip was a particular highlight). But far and beyond all of this, it is the incredibly dedicated and hardworking team of staff working at the resort that makes it truly special. Every member of staff we came across was so kind, helpful and engaging especially Melody at breakfast / Li long who went out of his way for us at every opportunity (and is now a firm friend of our 11 year old son bonding over diving / sharks). Most importantly of all though an extra special mention for our wonderful host Anna who went above and beyond every single day for us, she truly is a super star. Working tirelessly with the perfect balance of professionalism and genuine kindness.
