We had a great stay at Waldorf Astoria Maldives for our family holiday. Yummy food, funny kids water park, lots of water activities and the fabulous snorkeling experience just in front of our villa. The housekeeping staff is very professional and helpful. The services here are so impressive. Special thanks to our concierge, Yvonne , a lovely kind girl who is super supportive and well managed for everything. We will come back one day.

Our time at Waldorf Astoria Maldives was pure perfection! The overwater villa felt like a private paradise—crystal-clear waters right at our doorstep, plush furnishings, and unbeatable sunset views. Every staff member went above and beyond, from personalized greetings to tailored dining recommendations. And Yvonne is good！We like her very much！The spa’s oceanfront treatments were divine, and the seafood at the restaurant was incredibly fresh. This isn’t just a resort; it’s an unforgettable luxury escape we’ll dream about for years. 10/10, would return in a heartbeat!

Our family vacation at the Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi was nothing short of a dream. Unlike many resorts that require a bumpy seaplane ride, Waldorf Astoria offers its own private yacht transfer — smooth, quiet, and luxurious. The short journey set the tone for what awaited us: a paradise painted in countless shades of blue, where the sea and sky blended seamlessly. We stayed in a reef villa that offered the perfect balance between beach and ocean; it was peaceful, with gentle waves lapping at our doorstep. For those who prefer the rhythmic sound of crashing waves and direct access to snorkeling, the overwater villas are ideal — just a few strokes away from colorful schools of fish gliding through the clear water. Our butler, Yvonne was exceptionally attentive and thoughtful, always responding promptly and arranging every detail perfectly for our family. The dining experience on the island was another highlight, with an impressive variety of restaurants. Breakfast included comforting Chinese options like porridge and noodles, while the Chinese restaurant at dinner served authentic favorites — even Peking duck, which was a delightful surprise. Surrounded by blue skies, white sands, and turquoise waters, we found the perfect blend of serenity and understated luxury. If we return to the Maldives, there’s no doubt we’ll choose Waldorf Astoria again — and we truly hope to see Yvonne once more.

This is the first time my whole family has visited the Maldives, and we chose the Waldorf hotel. We're delighted to have met our Concierge, Yvonne—she is warm and outgoing, always ready to meet our requires, and even helped us book great restaurants. The hotel's overall service and hardware facilities are excellent, and the room is spacious too. We have already started planning our next trip back.

We stayed at the Waldorf Astoria Maldives for five nights in October, and it was truly the best resort experience we have ever had. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely taken care of, not just as guests, but as someone truly looked after with heart and attention. We especially want to express our deepest gratitude to our butler, Yvonne. She was incredibly patient, thoughtful, and attentive throughout our entire stay. On the very first day, she took the time to guide us around the island, showing us the locations of each restaurant and facility, which was extremely helpful for the rest of our trip. Anytime we needed assistance, Yvonne responded quickly and handled everything perfectly. There were many small moments that truly touched us – for example, on rainy days, she would personally come with a buggy to pick us up for meals. When my wife couldn’t ride a two-wheel bicycle, Yvonne immediately arranged a three-wheel bike that suited her perfectly. She understood our needs without us even having to explain too much, which made us feel genuinely cared for. The rest of the staff were also consistently polite and warm, always greeting us with a smile. We also want to mention Melody from Li Long restaurant – his service was outstanding. We dined at Li Long twice, not only because the food was delicious, but because his hospitality made us feel so welcome and well taken care of. We have stayed at many luxury hotels around the world, but this stay at Waldorf Astoria Maldives was by far the most memorable. Yvonne’s kindness and professionalism made a huge difference to our experience. We truly hope that on our next visit, we will be lucky enough to have Yvonne as our butler again.
