Water. Palm trees. The scent of jasmine. A private beach on Lake Caldaro/Kalterer See and the lightness of South Tyrol’s sweet south. Hotel SEELEITEN in Kaltern blends Italian dolce vita with five-star finesse – a lake-and-spa hideaway set among vineyards on the South Tyrolean Wine Road, with the Dolomites close enough for a day of awe. The lake shimmers below the Mediterranean park; in summer it warms to up to 29°C, inviting slow swims from two exclusive access points. Let light bites and aperitivi come to you at your sun lounger, then drift into 3,600m² of well-being: serene pools, including an indoor-outdoor infinity pool, saunas, and quiet rooms made for switching off. Sun-drenched terraces. Soft, attentive service. Evenings taste of the Moser family’s hospitality – gourmet pleasures paired with wines from their own winery or a glass of home-brewed Mendel beer. Lean back. Breathe. Lake Lifestyle, beautifully elevated.

Just come back from a week in this beautiful and brilliant hotel. We are a family of four and had two rooms - both of which were really great, one had an infrared sauna and the other a seperate living room with bath on the balcony. We were on half board which included lunch as well - all meals were so good, buffet breakfast and set menu for dinner which was such good quality and choice. Service was great with Fransz our waiter brilliant. Spa had loads of choice which we enjoyed, pool area was very relaxing but lake house was the best surprise. Loads to do including a night time torch walk but also so relaxing. Thank you to the whole staff at the hotel - we’ll be back :-)

Our stay at Seeleiten Lake Spa Hotel felt like a real pause. From the moment we arrived, there was a sense of calm — the lake, the vineyards, the mountains… everything invites you to slow down and just be. It’s rare to find a place that feels this peaceful while still offering so much. The pools, the quiet areas, the spa, and the overall atmosphere are all designed to help you relax without trying too hard. The food was another highlight — thoughtful, fresh, and genuinely enjoyable. You can feel the care behind it. We had a room on the 4th floor overlooking the gardens, the pools, and the lake, with a beautiful view of the mountains. It was always in pristine condition when we returned. But what made the experience truly special was the people. The staff were warm, attentive, and naturally kind in a way that made us feel comfortable from the very beginning. We left feeling lighter, more rested, and already thinking about coming back.

Quite a disturbing and unprofessional service from the receptionists Liza and Johanna After booking a trip with a €40 cancellation fee, I had to fight for two weeks straight to get my refund. During this time, the hotel staff acted as if they didn’t even see the payment, forcing me to repeatedly send transaction confirmations — five times in total. Instead of offering help or courtesy, I was met with dismissive and even offensive replies, including a message asking me "never to contact them again." Only after this exhausting back-and-forth did they finally return my money. Not once did they offer an apology for the stress, wasted time, and disrespect they caused. A business shows its true face in difficult situations, and unfortunately, this hotel revealed a complete lack of respect for its guests. Keep that in mind before booking here.

The best hotel I’ve been fortunate enough to stay in. The staff exude warmth and professionalism, the pools are lovely and the food is out of this world. My only regret was that we didn’t know there was a trousers dress code for dinner and my husband had not brought any with him. No one said anything or made us feel uncomfortable but he would have been happy to oblige if we’d known in advance.
