The Reefs is our most favorite resort anywhere. It is consistently good. It is a beautiful well maintained resort. The food is terrific, the staff is welcoming, the view from every room is stunning. This is the most peaceful, gracious place you will find. We have returned again and again, and we are never disappointed.

This review is only for the staff at Solaris, one of the restaurants at Coco Reef. My husband and I were treated like second class persons. We wanted to eat dinner at the resort on our last night of a week-long vacation in Bermuda and when we arrived to the maître d' we asked to sit at a table in the restaurant that was on the patio, as there were plenty of available tables. The man that took us away from the restaurant to a hightop table. He said we were not worthy or allowed to sit inside the restaurant, but instead had to sit on a completely separate patio, that was not attached to the restaurant. When we asked why, the gentleman said it was because I wasn't dressed appropriately - I was wearing a standard cotton polo, 5" cotton shorts (very standard), and cole haan closed toed shoes. They said my shorts were too short and that I had a visible tattoo (nothing offensive) on each thigh when I sat. Other guests were wearing the exact same style clothing - a mix of resort-chic wear with women in short dresses and sandals, and men in shorts, collared polos, comfortable closed toed shoes, sandals, and even sneakers/trainers. Nowhere on the website does it indicate long shorts or pants are required. I wore the exact same clothing - polo or button down shirt, shorts, and closed toed shoes at every other restaurant on Bermuda, including at 5-star restaurants and at the Gold Club at the Fairmont Princess. I've worn the same style clothing at 5-star resorts on other islands - and I have never been treated so poorly. Horrible and prejudice staff. Wholly unacceptable in today's day and age, and sexist as women were wearing short clothing. Avoid unless you want to be treated like a second class person.

Perfect place for a classy romantic getaway! Moongates, pink beaches, amazing food, great service, and everything else a couple can enjoy. Took my wife here for a romantic getaway from the kids. Even did a couple's massage at the spa! Grabbing a cab and going to the Dock Yard or Downtown Hamilton was very convenient.

It's located on the south side of the island, which is known for the best beaches, and this resort has a private beach with kayaking and snorkeling from their private beach, and the food is delicious. The resort is beautiful and the bus stop is right across the street so very convenient to get around the island. Keurig in each room, wish I knew to bring my kcups.

It's a superb hotel with a smaller, more intimate feel. Staff was super friendly and attentive. The private beach was immaculate and the Thursday night beach barbeque is not to be missed. After having stayed at some of the much larger resorts over the years, we now realize The Reefs is our spot for future visits.
