What a lovely and luxurious getaway on Bermuda's southern shore. December is a quiet time to visit Bermuda, but plenty of holiday spirit and perfect weather for exploring. We even got into the ocean, briefly! Wonderful amenities and unbeatable sunset view from the hot tub. Welcoming staff and delicious dining experiences at breakfast, tea and dinner. A place I look forward to returning to The Reefs next time I come to Bermuda.

The Reefs is a very nice hotel in a wonderful location with its own beautiful private beach. The views are stunning. David, the owner is charming and most helpful. Food offered is very good from both restaurants Housekeeping is uneven, some days excellent others average. Front desk staff need more training and requests sometimes have to be made multiple times. Our bill was inaccurate.

Just returned from our very first trip to Bermuda. We fell in love with the island and The Reefs Resort. The positive: this small, family owned and operated resort is top notch. We met David, Sr the owner, during check in and then again at dinner. He is the nicest man, who obviously cares about the resort and its guests. We stayed in one of the cliff junior suites. Unobstructed view of the ocean is incredible. I could sit all day on the balcony just listening to the ocean. Cliff rooms are steps away from the beach and the Coconuts restaurant, which makes it a perfect location. Rooms are clean and spacious. Bed is very comfortable. The pull out couch is ok for a child not super comfortable for older teens or adults. The food: OMG!! THE FOOD!! As a foodie, I don’t usually have high expectations for resort food. Not so at the Reefs!! Both (newly redesigned) Solaris and Coconuts were outstanding!! The food is pricey, I highly recommend getting the meal plan. Best deal on the island!! Breakfast (full buffet and a la carte options available) is scrumptious! Afternoons tea with sandwiches and pastries is a great touch. (All meals except lunch are included in the meal plan). The pool is clean but small. I imagine it gets very crowded during high season. The private beach is gorgeous. Beach staff sets up chairs and umbrellas every morning. Complementary rentals of Kayaks, snorkeling masks, etc available for guests. And finally huge shoutout to the staff!! Especially Wyman, Ryan and Oleksandr at the Solaris and Coconuts!!! Staff is who make this resort great: always friendly, attentive and eager to please. The only downside of the Reefs is that it’s not close to anything. To get anywhere, you need a taxi (expensive) or a public bus (great option but takes a while). You can rent a 2-person scooter if you are comfortable driving on the wrong side of the road 😀 One suggestion for owners to consider: if you could provide a shuttle for guests to main attractions (dockyard, Hamilton, the caves) even if once a day, that would be a tremendous selling point.

An immaculate Bermuda classic. I've enjoyed a number of meals at The Reefs on previous trips but was glad that this time it worked out that I could stay there. With a small but very pretty beach, The Reefs is an all-around great choice. Charming and well-run property, excellent staff overall, nice facilities - all in a beautiful setting.

Was having some sister time celebrating a milestone birthday. We couldn't have picked a better resort to stay at on your beautiful island. Everyone from the owner to the grounds keeper were wonderful. Now I'm ready to return with my husband to share this special place with. The other guests were also a perfect fit. It was wonderful to hear stories of multigeneration trips, weddings and anniversaries. Thank you all!
