Can't Wait to Be at the Reefs in 2026

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

First time at the Reefs and it will definitely not be the last; before we left we booked our 2026 visit. This place is a "WOW" experience. The setting, people, food, drinks, beach, pool, hot tub, balcony rooms, spa, views....everything. Beds are comfortable. Rooms are a good size. All of the people working at the resort are happy/friendly and know what they are doing. Wonderful experience at the Reefs and in Bermuda. Thank you to all.

Excellent staff and location, easy beach access

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Excellent stay, I would rate it 4.5 if that was an option. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Location was excellent: beach, pool, and restaurant were easily accessible. (Unlike some resorts where you need to take a shuttle to beach) Breakfast buffet was great. Items needing improvement: No bathroom near pool, need to go back to room. Also no drink service at pool unless you use a phone to specially order a beverage. On beach, attendant was very nice and accommodating but drink service was a bit slow (20 minutes), it appears there was only one attendant when we were there.

I’d come back, but it could use some charisma.

There were 3 desks for checking guests in. It went smoothly. Our room is small, but clean and comfortable. We appreciate the Kuerig machine and brought our own coffee. There is a fridge, no microwave. The beach is fantastic, plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas and no crowds. Some seaweed but not like Tulum. We love the nice reefs and fish right off the beach! We brought our own snorkeling equipment but they will loan you theirs. The pool and hot tub are very nice too. Clean and don’t smell of chlorine. The food was above average, but could include more vegetables. We met some friendly people. They have 4 nice new pickleball courts but don’t have a system to set you up with other players. So far I have not seen anyone using them. I just returned from the Welcome Swizzle party, but the music was loud and there was not a host or manager greeting and introducing guests. I gather this is not a family run hotel like the Pompano Beach Club down the street. Everyone kept to themselves and you could not talk over the loud music. The front desk suggested we play with 2 people 🤷‍♀️. The gym is small but has lots of heavy weights and yoga mats. Some big machines as well. It cannot accommodate more than 3 people at a time. Climbing all the stairs walking to the beach and back will keep you fit. We went on a tour of the Island today and it was an adventure but it’s better here. There is a very British tea at 4 o’clock each day which is lovely. Cute little sandwiches, scones, cookies, coffee and tea. Don’t be late, the guy starts breaking it down at 4:58. Breakfast is above average, they have avocado toast, fruit and all the usual eggs, carbs, and fat. That’s all I have for now, maybe I’ll update later in the week.

perfect

Much of our conversation on the trip revolved around how perfect it all was. Bermuda is just a great place. The Reefs was a stretch for our price range but we're so glad we did it.
