This is a superb hotel in the middle of stunning Split old town. The rooms we had were absolutely beautiful, with excellent bathooms full of freebies, which the kids thoroughly enjoyed perusing! The staff are superb and the food is excellent. We ate at the rooftop restaurant and it was delicious. The pool is only splash pool, FYI and there are not many sunbeds at all, so it's more for a grown-up dip and a drink, than a kid-friendly play area! Glorious view though - absolutely beautiful.

We stayed for 2 nights at the Coronado. It is perfectly located being on the edge of the pedestrian zone and very near the old town. The room was spacious and comfortable. Good ac which is a must in the summer and you can even select the pillow type you prefer. The highlight of the hotel for us is the rooftop bar, which also has a plunge pool. The views over the town are spectacular, perfect for a sundowner. The breakfast selection is amazing. A huge variety on the buffet and you can order from the menu. It’s very relaxed and the staff are superb.

Great hotel with a lovely atmosphere, clean rooms, and friendly staff. The location was convenient, and everything was comfortable and well-maintained. The view from a rooftop bar is amazing. I had a very pleasant stay and would happily recommend it.
