We visited this property to celebrate my honey 50th birthday and we had the best time from check in to checkout Staff was polite professional & engaging Our butler staff Christopher Rennardo Davon was attentive & on task the entire stay. Made sure to check with us from morning to night thru WhatsApp& kept us informed of all activities & lunch & dinner times. I’ve stayed at many all inclusive from Cancun to Dubai & by far they set the bar. The food was so-so but the steakhouse on property 10/10. Karen was our waitress & she made sure we had the best experience she was all about you’re on vacation I will take of you & she did. The nightly shows were great but the Motown show was A+ phenomenal. I will definitely return back to Montego Bay & my 1st stop must be Iberostar Joia Rose Hall

I stayed for 6 nights to celebrate graduating. I was given a massage for the first roach incident day and Romell said the room would be fumigated that day. But when it happened the next day his manager Antonio said he could not do anything more about the second incident on the second day except move my room. Roaches in your room in a resort is not okay and a health risk so I don't know why he couldn't. So his response and service was unacceptable to the second roach incident. Everyone and everything was great except the roach and Antonio's lack of willingness to do more than the bare minimum in regards to the sanitary risk of roaches when I didn't pay bare minimum prices for my stay. These videos are from two different days.

Iberostar is a top-notch resort. If you're not a member, I strongly encourage you to become one. The service staff and the care they put into their guests are everything. Our ambassador Zen made sure our honeymoon stay was one to remember. The whole prestige club made you feel like family and not just a guest.

The entertainment crew really made our stay memorable! Ace, Mr. Fresh, Davey, and the others were all so energetic and fun, whether playing volleyball, dancing, or jumping in the pool. Overall, it was a pretty good stay. Location is very convenient from the airport (15-20 min) and offered free transfers. The resort itself is a little dated and – having previously stayed in Negril and Ocho Rios – the beach isn’t the best in Jamaica. The food quality was decent but those with dietary restrictions like myself may struggle a bit. I have celiac disease so I need a strict gluten free diet. Other reviews said that upon check in, they have someone explain in detail what you can and can’t eat while here. That didn’t happen. Every menu says “some items can be altered to be gluten free” but there are no dedicated gluten free menus, and wait staff was usually not knowledgeable about allergies. In the steakhouse, they said “there’s no flour here – order anything you want” even though there’s mac and cheese and the jerk sauce has soy sauce in it which contains gluten. She then started to serve me a dinner roll before I had to remind her of my allergy. But, overall, I was able to find enough safe food to stay satiated. My daily breakfast consisted of a large omelette and a fresh fruit smoothie. Drinks were good and service was fast and friendly. The WiFi throughout the resort works great and the mobile app is very helpful, even letting you order drinks to have them delivered to you on the beach or by the pool. Overall, it was probably our least favorite of the three places we’ve stayed in Jamaica, but hey, it’s still Jamaica! And like I said, the entertainment staff alone definitely bumped it up a star. Ya mon!

Even though I’m a Prestige member, I must say the service was top tier all around—not just in the exclusive areas. From check-in to check-out, the staff made us feel valued and welcomed. Special shoutout to Zen, our ambassador from the Prestige Lounge—his positive energy and great vibes really set the tone for a relaxing trip. Saskia’s vibrant personality and Toni Ann’s constant smile made every visit to the lounge feel warm and special. Honestly, everyone in the Prestige Lounge deserves their flowers—they’re a dream team. The spa was a dreamy and peaceful experience—the staff were kind, gentle, and professional. If you’re thinking about booking a treatment, go for it! Now, let’s talk food—10 out of 10! Every meal was delicious, from the buffet to the à la carte restaurants. I do wish the wine selection was better though. For a place of this caliber, it’s time to step up the wine game. Something like XXL Wine with a wider variety of flavors (think fruity, semi-sweet, dry reds, bubbly options) would really take it to the next level. Still, I gave what was available a try! Rooms were decent—clean, spacious, and comfortable, but I don’t come to vacation to stay locked up in my room. That said, a few upgrades would go a long way: hotter water, a little bubbly bath soap for the tub, and modern touches would be appreciated. My housekeeper was amazing and so patient—she deserves recognition for keeping everything so fresh and welcoming. Activities during the day were fun if you enjoy sand games and water aerobics, but I’d love to see more nighttime options for different age groups and vibes—like night pool parties, theme nights, or something a little more exciting after dark. The current entertainment was just okay, and could be more engaging overall. Despite a few minor things, I love it here. My family and I always come back, and we’ll continue to return. The vibe, service, and familiar warmth keep us loyal as members—and that says a lot. 💛🌴
