Started better than it ended
Started as a good experience to celebrate my birthday. We love the adults only vibe. Wish there were more food options after breakfast. Pools were great, plenty of chairs and beds available near pool and on beach. Upon checking out, I was told that my room was being charged for a bottle of wine that was in my room (not requested by me) for my birthday. I appreciated the decorations, cake and wine that was set up by the staff, but I do not understand why I was charged for the wine. I have seen other guest's reviews say it was complimentary. Highly disappointed that they would not remove that charge especially since I didn't request it and it ruined my experience.

Review of JOIA Rose Hall by Iberostar
JOIA Rose Hall By Iberostar is one of the best all-inclusive resorts out there. Even better if you are a member. The food, the beach, the pool and the staff there are all amazing. Great experience!

Beautiful resort, but overall disappointment
The app showed that restaurants were open at certain times and they weren't. Also they try to get you to buy into becoming a member by listening to the deal at breakfast. Once I was told that two spa treatments would be given complimentary, I was going to go. However, I was informed that the spa was booked and i would get a credit for the gift shop. The resort was pretty empty so I did not understand how this could be. Also there was an hour wait for each restaurant we went to at night which is unacceptable for a vacation. I am a huge fan of Jamaica, however this is a resort to stay away from. Sandals and beaches do a much better job at satisfying their customers. Definitely worth the extra money to us.

Wonderful time!
We absolutely love Joia, formally known as the Grand. We have visited so many times we have lost count! The property has recently been updated. The staff is amazing! We especially loved Donovan, Melissa, and Shelly at the beach. Travis at the pool bar is hilarious and always keeps the party going! Valentine in the Star Prestige lounge is the best at customer service! He always provided that special touch each day to make our trip exceptional. Besides the people being amazing, the food is great, the rooms are very comfortable and super clean, and the property is beautiful! We will be back very soon!

Coming back to this resort was just like I remembered. Great food, great weather, and most important, a friendly staff. They always welcome you back home!
