The Royal Sonesta Chase Park Plaza St. Louis

The staff was incredibly helpful in dealing with us and some special accessibility needs. They were kind and caring in securing a room that suited our needs.

On top of the email I’ll be writing for several aspects of should I say assets to management for this hotel, I want to share my recent experience at the Chase Park Plaza. I travel extensively for work, nationally and internationally and I will say this hotel and its staff are no hesitation top 5 in my experiences. You can find other 4 star or 5 star hotels in St. Louis but let me tell you what makes the Chase Park Plaza special, the people. this staff is truly incredible. My first visit was great however this last week at the Chase Park Plaza leaves me just a little sad that I am on to the next. I want to thank the front desk staff, the team there made sure I was taken care of with an executive suite on their top floor which alone is incredible and I implore everyone to experience that kind of stay especially at the Chase Park. The hotel is stunning, historic, and comfortable. With on site parking in a covered garage, 3 AMAZING restaurants. And again I can not stress enough how much I adore the staff of this hotel. From the 2 young ladies who checked me in to Rhonda in restaurants, Madeline at the Preston located in the hotels lobby…. This hotel and staff have left an everlasting impression for me making St. Louis feel like a home away from home.

I think this is the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The staff were great, always pleasant and helpful. Great location and amenities. I cannot wait to go back.

Breakfast in the main restaurant was literally amazing. I never write reviews - this meal was absolutely worth making an exception. I had the best blueberry pancakes I’ve ever had in my life. But the best part was the service. I have grown really fatigued in our society that everything seems to come with the expectation of a tip and somehow we’ve lost the sense that a tip is earned by great service. It was nice to be served by someone who went out of her way to be friendly and fun. Keba was our waitress and she could not have been more delightful.

The absolute best hotel we have ever stayed in! We stayed here because of a family wedding nearby. This gorgeous historic hotel sits adjacent to the Forest Park, 90 acres of greenery with golf, recreation, museums and an amazing zoo. We booked a wheelchair accessible room with a roll in shower for my para husband. The room, which was a suite was huge! Although the bed was set too high for a wheelchair user and the shower bench too low, it was NO PROBLEM! The bed was lowered and a shower chair added PERFECT!! The concierge, PAMELA was OUTSTANDING!!! She was on top of everything (she needs a raise) making sure our stay was top notch. We can't thank her enough for all her help. Restaurant food was all reasonably priced and so much better than "breakfast included" stuff you get at other hotels. It was really quiet even with construction next door and very clean. If you are visiting St. Louis, this hotel is a must stay!
