The Royal Sonesta Chase Park Plaza St. Louis

Undoubtedly, one of the best hotels in and around St. Louis. Impeccably clean, with great amenities and fine dining. The location is perfect, walkable to most shopping, groceries, and dining. The parking fees are a little steep at $50 valet and $40 self-park. Otherwise, highly recommended.

This is our third stay over Labor Day weekend and the best so far. Wonderful service, start to finish! Classy, clean rooms with a view of forest park, love it. The pool experience has leveled up significantly and we’ll be back again next summer for a few stays for sure. The pool experience was 10/10 with the extra bar, water stations, and fast friendly service. Thank you Del for bringing the joy and cold drinks, you are a star!

Poolside at the Chase Park Plaza: my favorite staycation! Lovely, lovely pool experience every time. Special shout out to Eric at the Patio Bar who is so warm and attentive, and went well out of his way to make sure I had a truly wonderful lunch on a day when pool service was suspended: you made my day special! Also many thanks to Tom at the pool, who made sure I never wanted for anything, and kept me in Hugo Spritzes all summer long: you’re the best!

My wife, kids, and I recently stayed for a night at the Chase Park Plaza in late August, and it was a phenomenal experience from start to finish. The exceptional service began at check-in with Allison at the front desk. She was incredibly friendly and pleasant, taking the time to highlight the hotel's amenities and exciting things to do on-property, including the live music line-up. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean. When we called down for extra linens for the pull-out couch, housekeeping delivered them within 10 minutes—a very impressive response time! We spent a wonderful afternoon at the pool. The water temperature was perfect, and the poolside food, drinks, and service were top-tier. Breakfast the next morning at The Preston was equally incredible. Our server, Greg, did a fantastic job, as did the rest of the staff. Between us, we had the eggs benedict, waffles, pancakes, and an omelet, and every single dish was delicious. The hotel has an amazing vibe, convenient parking, and an unbeatable location close to the Central West End, Forest Park, the Zoo, and many other city amenities. We will definitely be back!
