The Best Hotel I've Ever Stayed In I've been fortunate enough to stay in many five-star hotels around the world, including some incredible luxury suites, but Badrutt's Palace is genuinely the best hotel I've ever experienced. From the moment we arrived at St. Moritz station, the experience was exceptional. We were greeted on the platform by impeccably dressed chauffeurs, who took care of our luggage before driving us the short distance to the hotel in a complimentary Rolls-Royce. It immediately set the tone for what was to come. Check-in was effortless, warm and welcoming. The team gave us excellent recommendations for lunch and things to do during our stay, making us feel looked after from the very beginning. We stayed in a top-floor suite, and it was simply breathtaking. The hotel perfectly blends traditional old-world charm with beautifully designed contemporary rooms. It was one of the finest hotel suites I've ever stayed in. One thing that really stood out was the value. Yes, it's a luxury hotel, but unlike many places where you pay a premium only to find endless extras being charged, Badrutt's Palace makes you feel like you're genuinely getting what you've paid for. So many thoughtful touches and amenities in the room were complimentary, and it created a real sense of generosity rather than constantly being asked to pay more. The facilities are exactly what you'd expect from a true world-class five-star hotel. The swimming pool is incredible, with breathtaking views over the mountains and lake. Sitting on the terrace with a drink, taking in that scenery, is something I'll never forget. Although our stay was only short, every single member of staff we encountered was outstanding—professional, friendly, attentive and genuinely passionate about providing exceptional service. I don't say this lightly, but this is the best hotel I've ever stayed in. It's one of those rare places where every detail is done to perfection. I would happily travel all the way back into the Swiss Alps just to stay here again. Absolutely faultless. If you're considering staying at Badrutt's Palace, don't hesitate—you won't regret it.

Badrutt's Palace is of course the elegant Grand Dame of St. Moritz, inside and out. One is greeted by numerous helpful valets on arrival, your car (if you brought one) is whisked away, and a guest services member attends to every check-in need, provides a tour of the hotel and makes sure all is in order (ours was Francesca, who was top shelf). The concierge staff are helpful and attentive. (We were slightly disappointed in the bar staff and the lobby restaurant staff our first night but after that all went smoothly.) Our balcony room was elegantly appointed and overlooked the small lake -- beautiful views! The hotel has several cars to ferry guests here and there, and we had the pleasure of going to dinner in one of their Rolls Royce limousines, driven by the valet in full livery. (Did I mention the level of ostentation one must expect in staying here?) Breakfast was superb, a choice of menu items and buffet items that were all so inviting that breakfast can be a longish affair if you like. We would definitely return to Badrutt's Palace.

Brilliant hotel and outstanding service!

We had an unforgettable experience at Badrutt's Palace Hotel St. Moritz in Switzerland. The hotel combines classic elegance with breathtaking mountain and lake views, creating a truly magical atmosphere. The room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully decorated, with every detail carefully thought out. The staff was professional, welcoming, and always ready to help, making us feel special from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of fresh and high-quality options. The spa and wellness area were also incredible, perfect for relaxing after a day exploring St. Moritz.

Fantastic old world hotel exuding charm, elegance, and cordial service! We enjoyed every moment we were there - an amazing breakfast buffet with the various foods presented in the most appealing manner in a high ceiling hall with windows offering simply magnificent views while enjoying music played on a harp; a massive infinity jacuzzi pool on the outside to play around and a large indoor pool with glass windows that took full advantage of the surrounding mountainscape; the impressive public areas with numerous mementos and artifacts; the breathtaking terrace overlooking the frozen lake; the efficient concierge service to reserve our dinner at a Chase Veglia restaurant (Pizzeria Heuboden) and visit to Paradiso; the convenience of train station transfers; and location right on Main Street with all the top name shops. Our room was comfortable with views of the town. Memorable stay and plan to come back!
