The history and location are well documented. The service is less well-documented. Having stayed at 5 other hotels in St Moritz over the years, this is the worst in terms of price v service. This includes the Kempinski, Kulm, and other hotels that would not normally see themselves in the same category. Having raised concerns about the service and asked for resolutions and contact, I felt ignored, and in fact, virtually no effort was made to contact me over 2 days. Avoid the cocktail bar where you may have to wait a very long time to be served and may not even get any service at all - 90 min we waited for them to take a food order, which in the end they never took despite asking 3 times! Still don't know why - maybe they felt I needed to lose some weight! Breakfast similar sort of dismissive attitude. Terrible F&B service. The F&B manager, Mr Peters, did not address the issues, provided little support, and nothing was resolved. Overall, my impression was that the staff were not bothered about providing high-quality service, and as such, I would not stay there again or recommend it to others. There are other hotels with the same view but better service.

Badrutt’s Palace Hotel St. Moritz is pure luxury in the heart of the Swiss Alps. Exceptional service, elegant rooms with stunning views, world-class dining and a rich historic charm make every stay unforgettable. A truly iconic hotel and one of the finest luxury experiences in Switzerland.

I recently stayed at Badrutt’s Palace for a business trip, and I was blown away by how the team managed to make a professional stay feel like a true extension of my home. While I was there for work, the timing allowed me to experience the Snow Polo World Cup, which was an incredible addition to the weekend. -The level of personalization here is precise and thoughtful. Two highlights stood out: -The Rolls-Royce Service: The seamless car service provided a level of comfort and efficiency that made navigating St. Moritz effortless. It’s a signature touch that sets the tone for the entire stay. -The Gastronomy: The food was exceptional. Every meal felt curated to my tastes, maintaining a 'home-cooked' soul within a world-class culinary framework. The team at Badrutt’s doesn't just provide a service; they provide a sense of belonging. They transformed a standard business itinerary into an outstanding personal experience. I cannot recommend them highly enough for anyone seeking a 'home' in the Engadin valley.

Reached out to them months in advance and they emailed they are not booking that far out and when it came closer to the date they said they are fully booked ! Not at all accommodating. Really disappointed!

While this is a beautiful hotel in St Moritz, I didn’t find the service to be of 5 star level considering the steep price for the rooms. There was no personalized interactions with the staff during our stay. Also, there is a lack of detail when it comes to breakfast service. All 3 meals were served incorrectly and had to be sent back. Both mornings we were missing sides that we had ordered. Prior to my stay I had emailed the concierge a few questions and never received a response. During our stay I had tried to reach the hotel on WhatsApp and never received a return message. I haven’t had this experience with other 5 star luxury hotels in the past. It seems they roll out the red carpet for certain guests but I wasn’t made to feel that way.

Badrutt’s Palace in St. Moritz...one of the Grand Old hotels of Europe! Our excellent treatment as first-time guests speaks very highly of the property. I bow to the ladies and gentlemen of the hotel and look forward to spending Easter with them.
