We recently stayed at the Grand Hotel Des Bains Kempinski St. Moritz, and it was a truly wonderful experience. Rachele, the staff member who greeted us on arrival was also kind enough to give us a double upgrade! So our stay got off to an incredible start! The room allotted to us was sensational with marvellous park views. Thank you Rachelle!! The overall atmosphere of the hotel is a wonderful example of a Belle Epoque palace hotel, with still enough original features remaining to lend credibility, but also sympathetic renovations and additions that brings the hotel well and truly into the 21st century to accommodate even the most fastidious guest. We absolutely loved the swimming pool and sauna facilities, using them both days. There is an indoor pool with is heated to 29 degrees and an outdoor pool which is about 32 degrees (from memory) There are multiple saunas and a hammam, We tried all of them! The lobby bar and the "secret bar" were both fantastic and we really appreciated Eduardo who is an extremely charismatic chap who is utterly professional, yet also extremely engaging. We watched world cup football in the secret bar and it was a wonderful experience, Breakfast was incredible as befitting the stunning breakfast hall/restaurant it was held in. Incredible variety of breakfast choices and simply a stunning room in which to appreciate the genius of our forebears who insisted on this level of luxury. We were greatly impressed by Marina who is an ever helpful and smiling face at breakfast. The young omelette chef Tomas was also always smiling, loving his vocation and making us smile too with his enthusiasm. Then there was Paola who seemed to always be on duty. At one point she was in the bar area in the evening making sure we were comfortable, and then the next morning she was there checking to ensure everything was to our liking at breakfast. Does she ever rest? It was with some sadness that our two nights came to an end and we had to check out. It was at this point that we met the General Manager, the charismatic Konstantin Zeuke, who was positively charming and eager to know about our stay, how they could improve and where our trip would take us. A lovely, personal touch to end our stay. Do we have any regrets regarding the Grand Hotel Des Bains? Only that two nights is not enough! Next time we shall stay four nights to properly appreciate all that it has to offer!

The property is beautiful. The spa facilities and restaurants are all exceptional. Our room was very comfortable, quite spacious, clean, well-cared for and had fantastic views. The location is great as the gondola is just a short walk away. Most importantly, the service is impeccable. From the breakfast servers to the other restaurants, the ski shop, the valets and everywhere else, everyone we interacted with was very friendly, personable and attentive, not a single exception. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed every moment. Many thanks to everyone at the hotel for making it so.

Kempinski Exterior is gorgeous and the lobby is beautiful. Hotel is a bit outdated when it comes to the rooms. Prior to my arrival, I stayed in Zurich at the Dolder Grand for $1500 per night it was 10/10. Kempinski is 7/10. Did not meet my expectations. I could barely move around in the tiny room. I was not impressed. Very disappointed and asked for a refund $8,600 and it was denied.

A beautiful hotel with an amazing gym and spa, right at the base of the ski mountain and a short walk to town. Great service, well-appointed rooms, and a terrific breakfast. On-site ski rental and storage. It is quite expensive - $35 for a cocktail - but everything in St. Moritz is. I loved the location - close enough to the center that you can walk it, but far enough away that it is quiet. And the gondola is right across the street.

I had the pleasure of being a guest of Grand Hotel Kempinski St. Moritz and I am pleased with my stay there. Everything definitely exceeded my expectations. The Signal lift is within walking distance, which was important for me and my friends. The SPA area in the hotel is excellent for recovery after a long day on the slopes. Rooms are perfect size and clean and the beds are very comfortable. Regarding the food in the hotel - I definitely give it 5 stars. The breakfast is extremely rich and the piano accompaniment in the morning is gorgeous. I can also recommend all the restaurants in the hotel - each of them different, with delicious food and nice atmosphere. Dinner at Neora restaurant is definitely a must, the pizza at Crazy Pizza restaurant is really worth it. The signature cocktails in the lobby bar are perfectly balanced and delicious, and the singers create a very pleasant mood. For some fun and entertainment program - Billionaire is perfect! I visited the hotel with a group of friends, we are all impressed with our stay there.
