Was not impressed. We paid over $650 for one night and expected a nice luxury hotel but instead got a dated, average hotel. No real amenities. In room dining experience was disappointing as they forgot an entire meal we ordered and there was no answer when we called back to tell them. Front desk and bell staff was friendly though.

A Perfect Stay from Start to Finish!
The St. Paul Hotel is an iconic treasure in the heart of the city. The rooms are clean, well-appointed, quiet, and comfortable—even during extremely hot weather. Every aspect of the stay was exceptional. The St. Paul Grill was another highlight, offering friendly, attentive service along with fabulous cocktails and delicious food. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting St. Paul.

A run down hotel.
Have stayed regularly over last 7 years. Cons: WiFi was down periodically over four days. Revolving door @ main entrance broken for last 4 months. Chipped glasses and coffee mugs in room. Upholstery in Drake restaurant threadbare. Carpet in St. Paul grill is dirty and worn. Pros: Staff uniformly gracious, welcoming, and dedicated. Food always delicious. Central location. Requested adjustments to bill on three occasions. Checked out this morning with no changes reflecting the changes.

Perfect place to stay and love their restaurant! It is a PERFECT 10!!
This is the BEST hotel we have ever stayed at! Everything was perfect from the bellman at the door, front desk, restaurant and room were all a 10+++! Their restaurant is our favorite place to go. Delicious food without all the extra spicy seasonings. The bed was so comfortable and exceptionally clean! This is our favorite place to stay!!
