Two splendid 19th-century buildings adjoined together, numerous appointments and ultra-luxury status all help to illustrate the Corinthia Hotel St. Petersburg experience. Situated on one of Russia's most prominent passageways, Nevsky Prospect, the hotel is perfectly poised within the business district and close to landmark sites. The hotel lobby, with its sweeping center staircase, imposing pillars and iron balustrade encircling the mezzanine above, is a testament to a bygone era of design. Guest rooms evoke an elegance that is understated rather than ostentatious, with simplistic patterns and furnishings thoughtfully arranged. Amenities such as wireless internet, 24-hour room service, currency exchange, and an art gallery and book shop, add an element of comfort and convenience - as does the multilingual staff who can easily converse in English, French, German or Russian.

The location is perfect. Nevsky street, the center. The staffs were very friendly helpful . The breakfast was great. The view of Restaurant is also nice , Nevsky street view. The building is a old (i can under if they dont want to damage old view) inside of the hotel , furniture need a little bit renovation. Changes. They provided small teddy for the kid with us. It was nice gesture. Check in date was birthday of one of us . They didn’t provide nay complimentary amenity or discount . The bathroom was not working well.We stayed at deluxe grand room . Inside of room there was door ( probably it is used as connected room when it is needed) it was not comfortable. The balcony was nice. There was small balcony . But the doors of balcony were not working well. Room no 450. Overall it was nice experience. One night 2 adults +2 . bb we paid aprx 25000 ruble ( 250 ruble is governmental tax for one night one pax ). The live music at the lobby is great idea.

The hotel laundry service is terrible — a luxury item was completely ruined after washing. They promised to look into it, but in the end no one explained anything and no compensation was offered. The hotel itself is old and the service is poor. Would not recommend.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The property is very beautiful with nice pictures and statues around. The room was spacious and nicely arranged. Breakfasts were sufficient. The location is absolutely great. The staff is polite and very responsive.

This magnificent 5 star hotel is directly situated on the Nevsky Prospect, St. Petersburg’s principal and majestic road, close to all the main attractions. The hotel offers all the luxuries one has come to expect from the world famous Corinthia brand. We were upgraded to Executive class by the very kind and helpful Natalia, the Reservations Manager. This was a game changer and we felt so pampered. Thank you very much! St. Petersburg is indeed the Venice of the North and so worthy of a visit in anybody’s lifetime - and what better place to stay than the luxurious Corinthia Hotel.

I have spent for 2 days in July in this hotel. It is not my first time, I have been here a few years ago and I liked it then. Location is great, in the middle of Nevsky, quite close to Railway station as well as Rubinstein street, which is full of nice bars and restaurants. The air conditioner in the room was not blowing cold, but on the contrary warm and the room temperature was 28C. I called the technicians first night, they came and did not do anything. They Tried the alternatives from the switch, as I have done before, and said they will come tomorrow again. No one showed up, and I spent 2 terrible humid nights in the room. The person next to me during the check out was complaining for the same thing so apparently this is a common theme. Another not so pleasant experience was on the check out. They could not figure out half an hour how to charge my room the minibar expenses, and reverse from the deposit I paid during the check in. Finally they said they cannot figure out so they will try to do remotely. I cannot blame the young girls at the reception, they were interns or students apparently, and they were really struggling to help. They were discussing with a Senior Manager from the back office and coming back and trying to help, and going back for more advice. This mysterious person never showed up and tried to help. I think this is a management problem rather than a people problem. I don’t think I will be back in the short term, until management figure out their issues, in investing in the people and hotel facilities.
