About the Hotel

Two splendid 19th-century buildings adjoined together, numerous appointments and ultra-luxury status all help to illustrate the Corinthia Hotel St. Petersburg experience. Situated on one of Russia's most prominent passageways, Nevsky Prospect, the hotel is perfectly poised within the business district and close to landmark sites. The hotel lobby, with its sweeping center staircase, imposing pillars and iron balustrade encircling the mezzanine above, is a testament to a bygone era of design. Guest rooms evoke an elegance that is understated rather than ostentatious, with simplistic patterns and furnishings thoughtfully arranged. Amenities such as wireless internet, 24-hour room service, currency exchange, and an art gallery and book shop, add an element of comfort and convenience - as does the multilingual staff who can easily converse in English, French, German or Russian.

Excellent!

Perfect location! Appreciate quick service from front office when asked for water when one Housekeeping lady refused to give me water and asked me to call Front Office. I couldn't open the bottles and front office quickly sent a Housekeeping staff. Room was spacious with all amenities. Breakfast staff (while taking the room numbers) were energetic, smiling and helpful; that makes the customer's day! When informed that the items rice and dal need 2 minutes more cooking time, it was promptly passed on to the chefs. I could see the following day that it was actioned.

An amazing stay.

An amazing stay. Perfectly located on Nevsky Prospect with high sleep quality. The breakfasts are top-tier and delicious. Immaculate service from the helpful reception and concierge teams. Bonus: a nice gym with great views overlooking Vladimirsky Church! The Fabergé Museum is definitely worth a visit, and it's just a short walk from the hotel.

Disappointing stay – poor cleanliness and privacy issues

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 10 months ago

When I first entered the room and opened the curtain, I found an empty cigarette pack with ashes on the window sill. There were hair strands stuck to the bathroom walls. The pillow had a disgusting sweat smell even the receptionist couldn’t stand it !! and promised to replace it. Twice during our stay, hotel staff knocked and immediately entered the room without waiting, even though we hadn’t placed the cleaning sign. This was a clear invasion of privacy. I DO NOT recommend this hotel at all.

The location is perfect. Nevsky street, the center. The staffs were very friendly helpful . The breakfast was great. The view of Restaurant is also nice , Nevsky street view. The building is a old (i can under if they dont want to damage old view) inside of the hotel , furniture need a little bit renovation. Changes. They provided small teddy for the kid with us. It was nice gesture. Check in date was birthday of one of us . They didn’t provide nay complimentary amenity or discount . The bathroom was not working well.We stayed at deluxe grand room . Inside of room there was door ( probably it is used as connected room when it is needed) it was not comfortable. The balcony was nice. There was small balcony . But the doors of balcony were not working well. Room no 450. Overall it was nice experience. One night 2 adults +2 . bb we paid aprx 25000 ruble ( 250 ruble is governmental tax for one night one pax ). The live music at the lobby is great idea.

Don’t stay here

The hotel laundry service is terrible — a luxury item was completely ruined after washing. They promised to look into it, but in the end no one explained anything and no compensation was offered. The hotel itself is old and the service is poor. Would not recommend.
