Edgewood Tahoe Resort

I could not have imagined a better spot on the lake with gorgeous views, sunsets, staff, drinks, food, and the whole experience!

Beautiful property. Very mediocre expensive food and staff not helpful and sometimes rude. We loved Tahoe and would actually stay at the resort again but would not eat there and would not bother asking for concierge help. As an aside I have never written a review on Trip advisor but this experience really needs to be addressed.

I went to Edgewood with my wife and I and three other couples. Purpose was a luxury golf trip with the boys where our wives would enjoy the property. We were blown away with the resort, setting and the golf course. I could not recommend it more. On our last day we were going through withdrawals of leaving and not playing that course again.

The location is second to none—absolutely gorgeous. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance of being upscale without feeling pretentious. Throughout our stay, the staff were incredibly friendly and eager to please, and the rooms were nothing short of exceptional. With top-notch amenities, fantastic on-site restaurants, and a highly convenient two-mile complimentary shuttle service, every detail was covered. To top it all off, the property features one of the nicest golf courses I have ever played. We will definitely be back!

The hotel was stunning with good amenities and responsive staff, BUT I feel incredibly let down with our stay. I notified multiple front desk staff (both when booking and during our stay) that we were coming for our wedding and were to be married on May 30. I specifically asked for a cleaned room at a specific time and a romantic turndown. I was told no problem and that they had that request. Upon arrival, they thought we were here for our honeymoon and had a card for that in our room. I reiterated twice regarding the cleaning and romantic turndown for the wedding day/night. The front desk seemed frustrated and said “yes we have that noted”. We came back from our wedding and while the room was clean, there was no romantic turndown. After saying something to the bell hop, he said he would let the front desk know. We hear nothing for 45 minutes. We reach out ourselves only to be told that the concierge would be who we should have spoken to and that they were gone for the night. After reiterating this request 4+ times, SOMEONE should have told me to talk to concierge before it was too late. For such an expensive luxury resort, I expected better. We were let down on one of the most important days of our lives.
