Edgewood Tahoe Resort

Edgewood Tahoe is a beautiful resort, and overall, we had an amazing stay. The location is spectacular, the property is stunning, and our rooms were wonderful. However, a few aspects could have been better. Given the significant amount we paid for two rooms, we were disappointed that a late checkout could not be accommodated. We understand that availability may not always allow it, but the way the request was handled felt unnecessarily harsh. The front desk employee with glasses responded, “We don’t do late checkouts for anyone,” in a tone that came across as dismissive and rude. A more professional and courteous response—perhaps offering to check availability or simply explaining the policy politely—would have made a big difference. Guests should not be made to feel unimportant, especially at a resort of this caliber. The pillows were also extremely uncomfortable. Most luxury hotels provide a choice of softer and firmer pillows, but the ones in our rooms made it difficult to sleep comfortably. Despite these issues, we truly enjoyed the resort and its incredible setting. With warmer front-desk service and better pillow options, the experience could have been exceptional from beginning to end.

From the amenities, the staff, and the accommodations, this is undoubtedly a perfect destination for a romantic couples retreat! We would return in a heartbeat!

Exceptional stay and possibly the best resort we have stayed at. The service was outstanding. The place was immaculate. Being right in the lake was amazing. The pool was wonderful. we loved the amenities. The food was a 10/10. Loved loved loved the wedge salad, shrimp cocktail, scallops at The Bistro. All restaurants were wonderful. Loved having the cafe to grab a Cappuccino in the morning. There was a snore station every evening that was amazing. The stay exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend booking.

We travelled around the lake and stayed at different locations and hotels, but THIS was hands down the best place we stayed. Absolutely impeccable location and service!

THE BEST GIRLS TRIP!!! Couldn't recommend more. Fabulous views, delicious food, attentive service. The Villas were worth every penny. Highly recommend!!
