Beautiful and wonderful resort, terrible staff.
The hotel was stunningly beautiful, and the property was immaculate. Everything about the hotel was top-notch. However, the staff was absolutely terrible, and that’s the only reason I’m giving them a three-star rating. From the moment we started our booking with the consignor team, they were completely unresponsive to our calls and emails. It took less than half an hour before we finally got in touch with the manager. We were one of five families, and the same terrible experience was shared by all five of us. The chef refused to prepare food for 17 people, including eight children. We had to resort to ordering DoorDash to feed our kids at a high-end resort because the chef simply refused us due to the large number of people. To make matters worse, a staff member even tried to stop us from eating because it was against the hotel’s policy. But when the hotel refused to feed us, we had to make other accommodations. To top it off, we had just bought bottles of wine at the bar and were enjoying them by the fire when the same staff member came out after harassing us about DoorDash. He only questioned us about where we got our alcohol from.

Edgewood is a must visit experience
The experience at Edgewood was amazing. As someone mentioned to us it's like Disneyland for people who like the outdoors. The pool, hot tub, beach, fire pits, food, rooms, spa and everything else was amazing. The concierge was super helpful with our questions pre-arrival and during our stay. The food was great and the s'mores at night was a perfect treat before winding down for the night. It also allowed us to connect with other guests around the fire and met folks from around the country. The staff were all very friendly and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great. We are already making plans to return soon!

Edgewood is our favorite getaway. The beautifully maintained grounds, exquisite location on Lake Tahoe, and amazing staff make it a must visit destination.

Lake Tahoe The Edgewood Lodge at Tahoe is the best highly recommended over any place in the area. We will definitely be back.

Strong recommendation for the trip.
Nice view and nice service, recommend you to have an trip experience with your friends or family to this hotel. For the Golf Club, may be need to be improved to for the internal communication as I have the gap is obvisous.
