Edgewood Tahoe Resort

Sal ensured our stay was above all expectations. He went above and beyond for us to turn around our stay. I can’t thank him enough for a memorable experience!

We had an incredible stay at the Edgewood and would return in a heartbeat. We ended up renting a car as it is just over an hour from the Reno airport; however, that truly wasn't needed once we got on property. Everything was within 2 miles for the most part, and they have a complimentary shuttle service that brought us literally everywhere. Granted, we were there at a slow time, so there were virtually no wait times, but it's good for travelers to know! If you are a family and get an adjoining room, there is no sound barrier between the two doors connecting the rooms. The main rooms had great soundproofing, but if it's adjoining there is little buffer, and you can hear a ton in the other room! The mattresses are not the best - it hurt our backs. But, they will bring you a topper if you ask and it's available, and that helped.

Great experience - If you want to play golf book that ahead of time. Food is average. Drinks are $15-20+ Only a nespro coffee maker in the room. No lobby coffee but they offer green tea and green juice which was disappointing

If you are going to Lake Tahoe to enjoy the spectacular scenery and relax, this is the place to go. It's so beautiful and you will feel pampered while you are there. Our King room faced the lake. Every morning we bought coffee downstairs (it's not free, that's ok) and sat our our balcony and just enjoyed the scene - the lake, the mountains, hot air balloons. There are multiple eating options. The Edge restaurant is very expensive and has a limited menu but it's gorgeous. maybe go to their bar for a drink instead of dinner. The heated pool is nice, and there's a hot tub at the end of it which we enjoyed since it was October. The hotel runs a shuttle to anything within a 2-1/2 mile radius which is very helpful because a lot of the activities and recommended restaurants are within that range. At night they had the ingredients for s'mores and long sticks, there are multiple fire pits around - and you make your own. The fire pits are great. Also - the resort is right on the lake and there's a little beach there, if you want to go in the water, even just to get your toes in, you can. There are adirondack chairs scattered around to sit and just enjoy the view. We loved it there, we will go back.

Our experience did not meet our expectations, especially regarding the front desk and cleanliness. The hotel is excellent, but the staff wasn't friendly. I don't know if I'd come back…
