Skamania Lodge

Great place, very beautiful. Very accommodating for filming. Very professional and helpful to crew and locations. I can't say enough great things about them.

Don't expect an early check in! They will charge you and tell you its because you are making them rush. Didn't feel very appreciated for asking such an easy accommodation.

Overall, we had a good stay. Great views, the food was okay, and most of the staff were friendly and helpful. A couple things really stood out, though. We were chased down and screamed at for walking down a gravel path with no sign saying it was private or off-limits. Worse, we were essentially accused of being there to look into people’s windows. At 11 in the morning. With our child. It was bizarre, insulting, and a pretty lousy way to end the trip. Meanwhile, people were vaping in the outdoor hot tub without anyone seeming to care. But at exactly 6:00, a guy in a suit came out to make absolutely sure no kids were still in the hot tub (shocking, there weren't any). So, good property and mostly good people. Just be careful which unsigned gravel path you walk down, because apparently that might get someone screaming at your family and 8-year-old while suggesting you’re there to peek into windows.

My family had a great time! There was so much to do on the property, we never ran out of things to do and the backdrop was breathtaking. It was a great location, quiet at night, and the service was excellent.

My daughter and her fiance/husband chose Skamania for their wedding. The location was beautiful. The staff welcoming and helpful. The event was wonderful (helped to have outstanding weather!) For anyone looking to have a destination event in the Pacific NW, I would certainly recommend Skamania Lodge as a strong option.
