The Perry Hotel Key West

The Perry Hotel and Marina is a truly special place. The waterfront setting is stunning — swaying palms, beautiful docks, and that perfect coastal light that makes everything feel a little magical. The rooms are spacious, elegant, and well-appointed, with views that make you never want to leave. But what made our stay unforgettable was the people. Jayme and Ashwin went above and beyond in every sense of the phrase. When things didn’t go as planned, they stepped in with warmth, professionalism, and a genuine determination to make everything right. They saved our trip — plain and simple — and turned what could have been a stressful experience into something truly wonderful. The wedding team was equally impressive. Every detail was handled with care, coordination was seamless, and the whole team made us feel like our celebration was their top priority from start to finish. If you’re looking for a beautiful property with staff who actually care, the Perry is it. We cannot recommend it highly enough — and we’re already looking forward to coming back.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

We sampled 3 places in the Florida Keys on this trip and loved staying at the Perry Hotel on Stock Island. We were upgraded to an amazing suite overlooking the pool and marina. The weather wasn't warm enough to enjoy the heated pool but we still enjoyed our stay. We appreciated the shuttle to Key West and enjoyed our breakfast at Matt's in the hotel. Food and service were both excellent! My husband had a little trouble sleeping the first night because of a noisy rooster but that was a minor irritation. Shout out to Mitchell who checked us into the hotel and was very helpful when I was looking for milk to add to my tea at the coffee bar in the lounge. He was also on hand when we checked out. We have traveled around the world - every continent except Antarctica - and this kind of customer service makes all the difference. Thank you!

Jayme was pleasant he was very informative and very helpful in what we needed or was seeking. this company needs more workers like himself.

First and most importantly, this property is NOT in Key West. It is located on Stock Island, a minimum 15 minute drive, depending on traffic to Key West. The room was in terrible condition: broked toilet paper holder, leather chair almost in shreds, scratched, worn furniture. Food and beverage options are extremely limited and food is typically lukewarm or room temperature, never hot, and quality is average at best. Pool is small and really nothing to it. For almost $500 per night, I would expect more. Most importantly being, if you advertise as being in Key West, then actually be in Key West. Clean and renovate or simply maintain the room product. Extremely disappointing stay. Also very disappointed with American Express Travel for listing this property as part of their Hotel Collection. Not up to those standards.

We had such an amazing time at The Perry Hotel and Marina. The staff there was friendly and wanted to make it a special visit. I especially want to mention one person who went out of his way to make sure we had a nice stay. His name is Jayme. He greeted our daughter in law and son. He asked if they were joining us and to our surprise he gave her four drink passes. When I went back in the lobby to shop a little and say thank you to Jayme for the great customer service! I told him the drinks were great. I also mentioned to him that we were celebrating our daughter in law’s birthday. Jayme was so sweet he asked if I would like a bottle of champagne brought out to the pool area. He said it was his pleasure!!! Wow!! We loved the pool water temperature was perfect, and the grounds were beautiful with a great view of all the boats in the marina. I loved relaxing in one of the hammocks there. We enjoyed a great lunch! I especially loved the mahi-mahi fish. My husband said he had best large portion of chicken tenders . He said that were excellent with his spicy margarita. We had a fabulous time. Jayme you made us all very happy!! 😆 Thank you!!
