Excellent Stay, but Disappointing Gluten-Free Breakfast Options
Everything about our stay was excellent, except for the breakfast, which was a big disappointment. As someone who is gluten intolerant, I would expect much better gluten-free options from a five-star hotel. Good gluten-free bread really isn’t that difficult to bake or source from a local bakery, especially at this level of hospitality. I’ve stayed at several three- and four-star hotels that offered far better gluten-free bread, often freshly baked in-house. Many of these hotels have also offered gluten-free pancakes and other breakfast treats, making it possible to enjoy a proper hotel breakfast without feeling limited by dietary restrictions. Unfortunately, there was nothing like that here. It’s disappointing that a five-star hotel can’t offer the same standard as hotels with fewer stars. Overall, we had a wonderful stay, but the gluten-free breakfast options definitely need improvement. At a hotel of this standard, guests with dietary restrictions should be able to enjoy a breakfast that feels just as thoughtful, varied, and high-quality as everyone else’s.

Outstanding world class hotel
This is one of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed in. Everything about it is top notch from the extremely helpful staff and concierge to the immaculate rooms and facilities. Breakfast is available in any of three venues, all excellent. The location on the harbour is ideal for sightseeing. It’s a short walk to the subway line and a large variety of restaurants.

Amazing place
I had a lovely stay at the Grand Hôtel Stockholm while attending the World Psychiatric Association Congress. The setting is beautiful, with wonderful views over the waterfront, and the hotel has a sense of elegance and history that makes a visit to Stockholm feel especially memorable. Its central location made it easy to enjoy the city between conference commitments. I would be delighted to stay here again.
