Lydmar Hotel

Lydmar Hotel was again our fantastic Base Camp to Stockholm. This Hotel is a place where you feel at home the moment you enter. Our room was very tasty in every single aspect. Even though we explored the City again, your are tempted to spend a certain amount of time at your room - which we did. The whole team is giving its best to feel warmly welcome and makes your stay very cosy. The location of Lydmar is nothing else than perfect to explore the beauty of Stockholm. Gamla Stan, shopping fancy restaurants - all in walking distance. Even though the weather was like it use to be in the Nordics our room was perfectly warm and a fantastic retreat from the vibrant City. The breakfast is one of the high-lights in Lydmar Hotel both in quality as well as regarding the living-room atmosphere. It is the best possible start into a full day of excitement in this wonderful City. We have the privilege to have seen some other nice Hotels, but Lydmar Hotel is definitely our very favorite place to stay. Days at such a place are always to short as time flys if you enjoy this excellent hospitality. We will definitely come back!

First our complements to the staff. Everyone from the front desk, to the staff at breakfast, to the servers at dinner, was friendly and welcoming. The room was comfortable and very well appointed. Definitely felt like home and nothing like a chain hotel. They made sure we didn’t lack for anything we needed. Great location, staff gave us excellent suggestions and offered to make dinner reservations for us. The tram and metro were both just a short walk away. Our room rate included their delicious breakfast. Would definitely stay there again!!

Fantastic design. Made us feel like we were in a home rather than a hotel. The staff topped it off by being the best you could ever imagine. Was sad to leave.

Far and away best the hotel we stayed at during three weeks in Scandinavia. Location, style, service all deserving of highest marks. Zach and his colleagues were engagingly and sincerely helpful and encouraging. Restaurant was modern but cozy (hard to pull off) and room was both fun and luxurious.

I loved this hotel. Staff made us feel at home, always friendly and helpful. Location is fantastic, upfront of the water, and beautiful rooms. Reception staff made the difference, for which we are most grateful. We shall return.
