Lydmar Hotel

This hotel ticks every box - it’s great from start to finish! to finish! Firstly, the location is ideal - central and on the waterfront. You walk through the door and are immediately struck by the gorgeous interior design. Then the reception/concierge team greet you: welcoming and professional. Our room was on the 5th floor with a view of the water. Very comfy bed in a good sized, well fitted out room (and bathroom). We stayed 3 nights, ate in the restaurant one evening and had the extensive and delicious breakfast every morning. Again, efficient and friendly staff in the restaurant. The outdoor bar is a nice spot to sit at the end of a long touristy day, in the early evening sunshine, watching the boats and the people coming and going. During our stay we got great restaurant suggestions and reservations from the concierge team and they also helped us find the right boat tour to do from the many on offer. We have no negatives to say about the Lydmar. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.

The Lydmar is a beautiful boutique hotel that is well-located in Stockholm. The rooms are modern, the staff is uniformly excellent--friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast that came with our room was delicious. We could walk anywhere we wanted to go from the hotel. My only complaint is that our room had too many items of art, if they could be called art, in it, leaving little space for our luggage or other personal items. I highly recommend this hotel.

My wife and I stayed there on the back end of a Ritz Carlton Yacht Collection Cruise. Hotel was very trendy and had a really cool vibe. Room was small but actually a little bit larger than the typical European room. Had a really cool outside bar overlooking the water. Probably the most friendly and helpful staff I have ever seen. Always willing to help at any hour of the day. Truly an incredible level of service. Wish we could have stayed a few more days in this incredible city.

Incredible location, stunning rooms, coolest vibe, great food but…the star of it all is the incredible staff- personable, great at what they do and they make you feel like you are home in the chicest little suite in all of Stockholm. Don’t stay anywhere else!!!!

This is a stunning boutique hotel. It’s a maximalist dream, filled with evocative photography and art pieces. Its location is easily walkable to almost every neighborhood, and you get beautiful bows of the water she Old Town. There’s a fantastic dining room downstairs and a 2nd floor terrace for delicious food and cocktails. But the best feature of the hotel is the staff - HUGE props to Sanne and Karl (I hope I got their names right) for their awesome restaurant recommendations and even booking the reservations. The places they sent us were incredible, and really gave us a peek at Stockholm’s culinary culture. I can’t recommend this hotel enough!
