Super Hotel
I cannot praise this hotel more highly. It was all one would expect from such a prestigious hotel. So central we walked everywhere even from central station. Would love to return.

Wake up call for Nobis, Marriott is your best friend not your affiliate and their are a lot of us.
Location is perfect. Hotel is nice. Value is good as Scandanavia is expensive. Nobis need to remember that Marriott Bonvoy is a LOYALTY program not a booking site. Yes you book through them, but it rewards you for sticking to their brand, not lower prices. (Ritz Carlton on CPW is not a value play) No mention of Bonvoy when we checked in, when I asked they said they weren't a Marriott and they would have to check, oh yes maybe they were affiliated and we would get credit, but they weren't sure. Maybe Marriott needs to sell this hotel to Expedia or Bookings.com and see their REVPAR drop 20%. I have been a Marriott member since the 90's . Like most Marriott members, I am brand loyal more than price sensitive. When booking a hotel anywhere I go to the Marriott site first and work from there. Location is important, price can be a factor but not usually. Marriott is the common thread. Had they said welcome Marriott it would have been 5 stars, despite the Swedish heat wave. Wake up Nobis.

Secret Drink at the Nobis Hotel, Stockholm
I asked Micaela, a great server at the Gold Bar inside the Nobis Bar in Stockholm, for a good drink. She suggested the “Larry”. I had it and it was amazingly great. When you are there, ask for Micaela and ask for the “Larry”. You won’t be disappointed!

Good value but not luxury
Hotel was a good value on Am Ex Hotel Collection. Junior suite was large although shower was small. Breakfast room was in basement and room was crowded and noisy. Bistro was nice for lunch or dinner. One very small elevator serviced half the hotel rooms. Beware of the taxicabs in front of the hotel that are unregulated and charged us $76 for a one mile trip!
