Radisson Collection Strand Hotel, Stockholm

The Whole hotel is dirty from the ground up. I like the independence they want to give you until it is.. “Fix it yourself”. Want water for the room ? Get it yourself. It is loud beyond their control.

A fantastic gem among inner-city hotels in Stockholm. As a long-time Radisson VIP, I can say that this hotel truly stands out within the Radisson family – and in a very positive way! The Collection rooms with views over Nybroviken and Strandvägen are absolutely wonderful. The service level is consistently high, and the personal touch of still writing welcome notes by hand – instead of printing them like many other hotels – gives a warm and genuine feeling. I sincerely hope this wont change! Dont miss the Charles rooftop bar if visit during the summer. Of course, there are details that could be improved. Depending on the season, the sound insulation in the mentioned rooms is not optimal, and noise from outside can be perceived as disturbing. But that is likely something that can be resolved if needs are communicated in advance. Another, somewhat less pleasant, change is the empty minibar (not sure if this goes for all room alternatives). I understand the reason, but having to pre-order a "stock-up" and still being charged for everything even if you don’t consume it somewhat contradicts the overall value experience the hotel conveys.

They looked after us very well. The rooms are comfortable and very clean, but try to get one with a harbour view. The roof bar has super views. The staff are very friendly and I would recommend the hotel highly - great value for money too.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Sweden! It was clean, stylish, and very comfortable. The location was ideal, within walking distance of many major attractions, restaurants, and shops. Staff were friendly and helpful, making check-in and daily service smooth and pleasant. The room was quiet and well-appointed, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay.

I stayed here for vacation after spending the previous week working from a different local hotel, and the only real advantages to this one were the walkable location and water view.
