Villa Dagmar

The hotel was very well situated but there are no cars allowed near the hotel, so we had to lug our suitcases across a courtyard which is having construction (so you go over a lot of gravel). There were no added extras within the room, which was a shame as it’s the affiliated hotel of Soho house and you always get extras when staying there. Additionally, my massage was poor. The masseuse did not speak any English and didn’t listen to what I had asked (again, not her fault as she didn’t speak English) but would be helpful if she had. Overall, nice hotel and friendly staff.

This hotel is always amazing. I have stayed here minimum 8 times. This time I had a room facing the inner courtyard so the noise levels are very loud past midnight. Make sure to get a room facing outside. On a bright note the staff is great and the breakfast is very good.

Just a great place to stay, good location, great service and lovely experience. Modern hotel that delivered all we needed. Perfect for Soho House ! But also in the middle of a lovely district. Lovely breakfast, sauna a bonus, friendly staff. Get a room with an outside balcony, worth it.

Excellent hotel, well situated in the heart of the City, with easy access to all the main tourist attractions. Rooms were calming with a ‘clean’ look. Although not large, they were well appointed, a lovely bed and loads of pillows. The hotel’s own brand of toiletries was also excellent. Breakfast was superb, combining a varied buffet (constantly restocked) with a choice of hot dishes cooked to order. The hotel staff were very friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Villa Dagmar is, without a doubt, one of the most incredible hotels I’ve ever stayed at—probably my absolute favorite in the world! During this trip, I also had the opportunity to visit their sister hotel, Villa Dahlia, which is newly opened. I had a drink there and was equally impressed by its beauty, located in a charming square next to August Steneerberg’s house. Both properties are stunning and offer such a unique, luxurious experience. The staff at both Villa Dagmar and Villa Dahlia are phenomenal. I’d like to give a special shout-out to Ella at Villa Dagmar. I had to check out very early in the morning, and Ella went above and beyond by preparing a breakfast box for me—such a thoughtful and kind gesture. Her professionalism and warmth truly made my stay extra special. Ella’s kindness and attention to detail are beyond words, and she’s a wonderful reflection of the hotel’s exceptional service. While all the staff at Villa Dagmar are fantastic, I wanted to highlight how amazing Ella is for making my experience even more memorable. And let me not forget to mention the breakfast at Villa Dagmar—absolutely incredible! Every meal I had there was delicious and made my mornings so much better. At Villa Dahlia, I only had a drink and some snacks, but the hotel itself is lovely and full of character. Anna, who was working at Villa Dahlia, gave us a tour, and I want to give a shout-out to her as well for her wonderful hospitality. Thank you, Villa Dagmar, for another unforgettable experience. It’s always such a pleasure to stay there—I truly love it!
