Our recent stay at the Green Mountain Inn was truly exceptional, particularly due to the outstanding service we received. From the moment we called to inquire about availability and rates, Jessica was exceptionally gracious and attentive, which immediately made us choose to stay there. Upon our arrival, Donna warmly and professionally welcomed us, ensuring that our experience was seamless and memorable from the outset. Donna demonstrated remarkable attention to detail, consistently anticipating our needs and making everything feel effortless and refined. Donna’s thoughtful suggestions for local attractions were particularly appreciated, enabling us to create a memorable and meaningful experience for our children. Each morning, breakfast was a delightful experience. The elegant presentation showcased a carefully curated selection of fresh, high-quality options. The staff maintained a calm and inviting atmosphere, providing attentive and polished service. All three mornings, our breakfast waitress, whose name I regretfully cannot recall, was truly exceptional. Her consistency and warmth added a personal touch that we greatly appreciated. It is rare to encounter such consistently high hospitality, and this team delivers it beautifully. We departed feeling genuinely cared for and eagerly anticipate our return. The The Green Mountain Inn’s prime location, charming historic ambiance, and thoughtful touches—our children particularly enjoyed the afternoon tea and cookie hour, board games, the on-site game room, outdoor fire pits adjacent to the outdoor heated pool and jacuzzi, and the indoor jacuzzi and sauna—made our stay truly unforgettable.

Had a loved stay here. Close to everything. Place is absolutely charming.

Every year in December for many years, we make a trip to the Green Mountain Inn in Stowe,Vt and every year is more magical than the next. This year was a weather event of epic proportions but as always Rye Flieder and his team of front desk specialists were on top of things turning this visit into the best yet. They did not know it was both a birthday and anniversary trip but they treat every visit as a special event. Special thanks to Rye, the front desk ladies and the maintenance crew as well as The Whip staff for making this another magical trip..including the amazing snow event. If you haven’t been it’s a must bucket list trip. See you next year and keep warm.❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️

This was a mother-daughter trip to go skiing. The Inn was in a perfect location, walkable to all of downtown. We stayed in a poolside room which had a lovely view. The room was comfortable and spacious, appreciated having a fridge. The bed and bedding were super comfy. Afternoon tea and cookies was a nice touch. Proximity to both cross country and down hill skiing was great! We had a special time together.

This is our favorite in-state getaway. We have stayed at the Green Mountain Inn numerous times. It gives you a nice warm feel. The food is excellent, the staff friendly and helpful and the rooms are lovely. The Inn is vintage country charm decorated and there’s a historic story to tell. The year-round amenities go beyond what you would expect for the price. And the location makes it possible for you to explore the village shops just a short walk away.
