expensive but worth it for special occasions
Can't imaging a more beautiful resort and location during peak foliage. The hotel is impeccable and the grounds well maintained. Love the in-room fireplace

Time to move on from Spruce Peak.
I've stayed here many times in the past. You can tell it's changed. The employees are miserable. No dark roast coffee at the beanery at 9am? Huh? And when I asked the girl said, we have what we have. No toiletries in our room. This is supposed to be a Hyatt and we're members. They now charge to take the gondola to the top of the Mt. We paid $25 for a Tiramasu from room service. It was liquid when it arrived. 4pm check in is ridiculous. It should be 3pm max. Zero entertainment at night. The drinks were super overpriced. We were giving a double bed room and asked for a king. We won't be back. There's no percs to staying here anymore. You're better off staying in town, eating a better breakfast down there which is probably 1/3 cheaper. This place has gone downhill big time.

Wish we could’ve stayed longer!!!
We had an incredible stay at The Lodge at Spruce Peak. The property is absolutely beautiful, and we really enjoyed our suite with a balcony overlooking the fall foliage. Everyone we interacted with went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Special shout out to Concierge Billy, Pamela from the spa, and the valet team! It was the perfect fall getaway, and we’re already talking about making this an annual visit. Can’t recommend it enough

Outstanding experience
Outstanding experience. The lodge, its location, and the staff (especially Adolfo at the front desk), were all exceptional. Definitely recommend.
