I had a thoroughly enjoyable experience at this resort in every regard -- I was there for a law firm retreat. The facilities were in great shape, the rooms were spacious and clean, the food & beverage were impressive, and the staff was professional and responsive. Not a single complaint arose over the 2+ days I was there.

The Lodge is absolutely stunning. We booked in a Timberline Studio, Room 217. Great room! When we checked into our room, the in room safe was locked by the previous occupant. We contacted the front desk and that was resolved immediately. The following three nights at exactly 8:00 p.m., the cable TV crashed. Each time, we contacted the front desk and the engineer (Joe) reset the cable TV and came to the room to double-check that the TV was working. Thank you Joe! The staff at the food outlets including The Whistling Pig, The Pantry and The Beanery were amazing. Special shout out to the chef at The Pantry as he was very helpful and made amazing sandwiches. We're sorry we didn't catch his name, but thank you so much for the delicious food. Front desk staff and the valet staff were great as well. If given the opportunity, we will return to the Lodge at Spruce Peak. The Lodge and the surrounding area are stunning and the staff ensures that you have a great stay.

My friends and I visit Spruce Peak three times a year to celebrate our friendship. We always find the staff to be friendly, the grounds to be well kept, and the accommodations to be comfortable and clean. Kudos to all! P.S. There are walking trails nearby that are family friendly for all ages.

We loved it! The grounds are beautifully maintained, everyone is helpful and responsive, and there’s tons of family friendly programming without it feeling overrun by kids. Will absolutely be coming back!

The front desk was helpful. The room was clean and had a view. The food in Whistling Pig was not good. We were not asked, and we forgot to tell the one worker that we wanted our burgers cooked. They were browned on the outside and uncooked on the inside. You must like BBQ sauce as well. Not many other places nearby for dinner, so options are limited.
