Property is very nice but experience is not worth the price. We were only given a couple days notice that all but one restaurant was closed. I suspect much of the staff is not paid well as the service offered was slow and they generally seemed like they didn’t want to be there. The room itself is very nice and has amenities for extended stays (kitchenette with gas stove, dishes, dishwasher, etc). It was an average stay overall but for the money, we expected a lot more (and have gotten a lot more for a lot less).

We were able to check in early by a couple hours and front desk staff was friendly. We appreciated the metal water bottles and filling stations. Lobby was pretty and quiet. Room was spacious with a sitting area, fireplace and walk thru kitchenette. We loved the huge bathroom with double vanity. Stocked with plenty of towels too. We had a tiny balcony with a beautiful fall view of the ski slopes. The only odd room thing was we had 2 entrances to get to our room. The first got us into a tiny hallway where there were 2 more room doors- ours and another. We did hear the other guests in that room come home the first night when we had already gone to bed but nothing after that. It’s a nice idea for families traveling together but wasn’t warranted for our stay. There were a few places closed during our stay but we were sightseeing a lot so it didn’t interrupt our stay at all. This area is very cute and reminded us a lot of Beaver Creek, Co. It was a short drive to sights, eating and shopping in Stowe / Waterbury area. We also took a drive to Burlington the longer route North thru Smugglers Notch and it was absolutely stunning with all the Fall colors. Be sure to check it out if there in October. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here and think you will too.

My wife and I decided to spend our anniversary here, and it was a huge mistake. Two nights in a row we were forced outside in the freezing rain due to fire alarms—both times around the same hour. During the second incident, a resort worker walked into our room without even knocking, telling us we had to evacuate. We were in our PJs—such a violation of privacy! This completely ruined our stay. We won’t be coming back or recommending this place to anyone.

The resort was very accommodating; all areas were clean and well maintained. The restaurant was very good, and we had no problems or issues on our brief stay for Business. We did not use the spa or ski as we were thre to work.
