Reviews for The Lodge at Spruce Peak

Loved it!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

Beautiful property and setting! It is a perfect get-away, ski in and ski out hotel with an abundance of activity or just a great place to relax. I was there for a conference, but felt like a vacation too! I had a lovely suite with a gorgeous view of the mountain. It had a nice, large bathroom that had a great tub to soak in. The kitchen was decent, although I did not use it much. The bed was very comfortable. My favorite thing is the gas fireplace that I could turn on and warm my boots up. Service was friendly and the food was good. I recommend the French Toast for breakfast =)

People make the difference

First time to the Spruce Peak resort and it was amazing. The staff in all areas were amazing, friendly and always available. Bummer that the ice rink was out of commission, but we endured. Special shootout to the Tipsy Trout bartenders, Lauren and Parker. They were extremely kind and compassionate to us after our arduous journey to the resort. We'll be back for sure.

Good, bad and ugly

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Good: check in, valet, skis and luggage all dealt with, ski valet is nice service. Rooms ok but bathrooms are big and nice. Bad: a bit dated. Some of service/staff just phoning it in. Lots of details missed that makes it well short of “luxury” Ugly: we were there during March Madness and none of restaurants had TVs or games on. Its just a massive oversight to not have a sportsish bar at a ski resort. Had to drive to town for watch games which was super annoying.

Great place for a min ski vacation

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

This is our third trip there for a 4 day ski vacation. It' becoming an annual tradition. The staff are wonderful and very responsive. Lunch and dinner at Alpine Hall is wonderful, the breakfast --food wise--not so much for the price. The rooms are spacious and clean, could use some updating re decor. Overall, it's pricey but we love it and plan to keep going back!
