Wonderful hotel and staff. Great location. Rooftop restaurant had great food and great view of the water. Concierge and bell staff were great in booking Bosphorus sunset cruise for us and arranging transportation. Would definitely stay there again. Henry

Ajwa Sultanahmet is far more than a hotel; it is an experience of refined luxury and heartfelt hospitality. I cannot recommend it highly enough and look forward to returning to this beautiful haven on my next visit to Istanbul. The location could not be more perfect: just a few steps away from the majestic Blue Mosque and many of Istanbul’s most iconic sights, making it easy to explore while enjoying the peaceful comfort of the hotel. A particularly touching gesture was the thoughtful little farewell gift when I checked out such a sweet surprise and a memory I will treasure.

I’ve traveled six continents and stayed in the world’s best hotels. I always look for accommodations that are unique, and the AJWA is definitely one of them. From the moment you enter the lobby, you’ll appreciate the architectural design of the property. I only stayed for two nights, but the location in the Sultanahmet district close to the Grand Bazaar and the Blue Mosque- and the incredibly wonderful staff, made for an absolutely perfect two nights.

Beautiful hotel in a great location. Easy walking distance to the Hagia Sophia, The Blue Mosque and the Grand Bazaar. There are dozens of excellent restaurants nearby as well. The staff were also very helpful. I highly recommend this hotel if you are planning a stay in Istanbul.

Lovely hotel in Sultanahmet, within walking distance of Topkapi, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, and Grand Bazaar. The service was impeccable; the staff was extremely responsive to all of our requests. When we left at 4:30 am, they had a boxed breakfast for us. The room was fairly large, with a beautifully tiled bath. The view was into a building next door, so not the best, but the rooftop restaurant had a great view of the water and surroundings. The included breakfast was very well done. We also enjoyed a delicious Turkish dinner in the restaurant. The glass windows were lowered at sunset for a wonderful outdoor feel. We enjoyed our time here.
