I recently stayed at Sultanahmet Ajwa for 9 days, and everything was absolutely perfect. The entire place was impeccably clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We initially planned to stay for only 4 days, but we were enjoying our time so much that we extended our stay to 9 days. I highly recommend Sultanhanet Ajwa to anyone looking for a wonderful and memorable experience.

It's overrated. The hotel is nicely decorated but not so much in the rooms as they show in pictures. We had noise from the air conditioning, from the vacuum socket, and the street. The breakfast is not offered throughout the day as they advertise. It's not nearly as comfortable as a 5 star hotel. Their procing is too high. The only good thing is that it's walking distance to main touristic places.

We had a wonderful trip to Istanbul and stayed in this impeccable hotel. Everything was so spotless and well kept. The breakfast was imaginative and delicious. Cannot praise enough the services of the restaurant manager Husein, who provided such a personal service and brought us special plates from the kitchen to try. I would also very much like to praise Halima for looking after us so well. She is a credit to the hotel. We had a major hitch with our transportation to the airport but the hotel staff took care of everything for us. The staff are everything at this hotel, nothing is too much trouble. The duty manager and particularly the head of luggage went over and above their job descriptions - we were even chauffeured back to the airport. I shall be recommending the hotel to my son and his girlfriend who are also keen to travel to Istanbul. Thank you.

The only thing good about this hotel was the location . Walking distance to the mosques and the Grand Bazaar. Just a few of the staff were knowledgeable and friendly. Rooms were extremely small and dark. Did not feel at all like a five star hotel. Definately not value for money.

Loved this hotel - quirky design, comfortable room, great view, wonderfully helpful staff. Really convenient location for walking but very congested area for vehicle pick-ups. Highly recommend it. Only real issue was the timing of the gym - separate men's and ladies' times and the same times every day - so it you are a man and want to use the gym early morning (like me) then forget it.
