Divine surprise
This hotel is ideally located in the old city, walking distance to most of the spots to visit when in Istambul. The service is utterly professional and pleasant. Concierge, front desk, room service and spa could compete with any 5* more expensive hotel I know anywhere on the planet. The Sultan suite is outstanding by size and its traditional design. The only drawback is that no alcool is served and bringing your own drink in the restaurant is not allowed. So I did not experience the restaurant. Room service is however excellent and fast.

If you want to live a luxury experience with the best service in an historial ambience, this is The Hotel.. it’s a must for the interior design lovers and any one who really appreciate every detail. The staff is highly educated, very kindly and the rooms are beautiful as well as the bathroom. Also loved the library and all the furniture and decor

We really enjoyed our stay at AJWA. The quality of the service has surpassed our expectations. The staff was attentive and anticipated all our needs. The rooftop breakfast views were also amazing!

An Exceptional Stay with Unmatched Attention to Detail!
Our four night stay at AJWA Sultanahmet was wonderful. The hotel features a gorgeous traditional design and furniture, yet it is comfortable. The location is perfect, within easy walking distance to major historic sites, many restaurants, and shops. The service is top-notch. One example is we are a family of 5 adults and booked three rooms. We emailed to ask if our rooms can be next to each other and they said no problem. When we arrived, we found out that not only they gave us three rooms next to each other, one of the rooms was an upgrade. There are several other examples of how they took good care of us. But what impressed us most was the exceptional care during checkout. The gentleman at the front desk informed us our driver had arrived. He then took the extra step to verify with both us and the driver that we were heading to the correct airport, knowing that Istanbul has two. That level of thoughtfulness and proactive care showcased their amazing hospitality.
