Fabulous location, beautifully appointed, spacious rooms and bathrooms. Fabulous restaurant and out standing staff. Artec the Bell Captain was so professional, attentive, knowledgable, helpful and responsive. Please note this is an alcohol free hotel but we found restaurants not too far with great quality wines

I had an unforgettable stay at AJWA Sultanahmet. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and professional. The room was extraordinary, beautifully designed, luxurious, and very comfortable. They also surprised me with a generous upgrade to the Mansion for one night, which made the experience even more special. Every detail was handled with care, and the service was truly exceptional. AJWA Sultanahmet is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for luxury, comfort, and outstanding hospitality.

I really loved our stay here but it's quite an unusual hotel. It's a lovely looking building, the welcome at reception is friendly and warm but it feels a bit like you're being sold tour packages by the concierge at the expense of a really 5 star welcome. The room was fantastic - nicely equipped, a spectacular bed and very quiet. Breakfast was delicious and very generous. The spa is weirdly quiet but it was incredible to have a pool, steam room, sauna and gym all to myself. Because it's a dry hotel it seems to slightly lack a focal point - no bar or cafe and the restaurant was very quiet. The location is a bit of a mixed bag. It's sort of crammed in to a corner in a residential district and lots of the nearest bars and restaurants are a bit touristy and generic. It's walking distance to everywhere in the old town though and we had a brilliant stay.

My mom, sister, and I stayed at AJWA Sultanahmet for three nights, and it was a truly wonderful experience from start to finish. The rooms were beautiful, elegant, and very well-appointed, with every detail thoughtfully considered. One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible breakfast on the top floor, overlooking the city. The setting was so lovely that we found ourselves wanting to linger there for as long as possible. We also had one dinner at the hotel, which was absolutely delicious. In every case, the service was outstanding — warm, attentive, and gracious. The location could not be better: right in the heart of the old city, yet somehow calm, peaceful, and tranquil. It felt like a true oasis amid the bustle of Sultanahmet. I also want to give a special mention to the Bell Captain, Açay — I hope I have the spelling correct — who provided excellent service and made sure we got to all the places we wanted to visit in the best possible way. He and the entire bell team were terrific. We simply cannot wait to return. Highly recommended!
