Best place to stay in Istanbul!
We were recommended to stay at this hotel by friends who stayed previously and we were so glad we did! The location is excellent in the old town near to all sightseeing spots, Grand Bazarre for shopping, restaurants etc The hotel decor is stunning in authentic Turkish style and the staff were the most helpful, friendly and obliging we have ever had the pleasure to experience. Can’t recommend this hotel highly enough.

Cok iya - Very good Hotel
We stayed at the AJWA to celebrate my wife's birthday. After a long flight and one of our bags lost we arrived at the hotel and were greeted with warm welcome, some drinks and dates. The Concierge offered to chase up our missing suitcase with Turkish Airlines. The hotel is in a very congested area but the hotel is wonderful inside. Our room was on the fifth floor, it had a TV, fridge, safe, tea/coffee facilities, phone and decent chairs to sit on. Even the towels have their own coverings at this hotel. The bed was comfortable, however disappointed to find a hole in the bedsheet. Breakfast was on the top floor with lovely views, various egg dishes can be ordered, there was a hot / cold buffet. The Manager directed us to the shopping area from where we could get reasonably priced clothing. There are lots of local restaurants to choose from. Bring comfortable shoes as the area is hilly with cobblestone paving. The staff were friendly and spoke perfect English. I would recommend this hotel as it is a great base to see the local sights. NOTE, most businesses in Istanbul want Euros or Dollars as the country's inflation rate is high and it can be expensive.

An amazing hotel experience
Wonderful hotel! The staff were amazing! The Concierge had great recommendations for local restaurants, the Bell Team were perfect gentlemen and the restaurant staff could not have been better. It was four days of quiet luxury!
