Ajwa Hotel Sultanahmet

It's an amazingly beautiful hotel, and the rooms are large and very comfortable, but given the very high price of the rooms the extra costs for using the pool/spa look like mean-ness And I would have been much happier if I'd known up-front that it is a dry hotel

One of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. The hotel itself is beautiful The rooms are beautiful. And clean and everything works. The staff are amazing They know what you want before you’ve asked for it. Truly a remarkable hotel.

First-rate experience, delightful! Ajwa helped make Istanbul an even more memorable and positive experience. From the refreshing "special" complimentary drinks at an easy check-in to the specifically applied particular requests in arranging the return airport ride (waiting for us at the door, on-time and well-appointed) the warmth, professionalism, and dedication to the highest standards of hospitality and comfort were generously and abundantly evidenced, to the finest detail - even including a surprising gift souvenir after the easy and quick check-out. We regret not having made time for their nearby museum, (next time) but our days were full and satisfying nonetheless. Tucked into an otherwise inauspicious part of town, it's easy walking distance to virtually everything and a much-appreciated quiet, intimate luxurious experience. We'll hurry back. as Ajwa felt like a warm, welcoming, loving, and delightfully attentive family. The _piéce de rèsistance_ to an encompassing Istanbul experience.

From the moment that I arrived at 5 am after the airline changed my flight at the last minute, the AJWA staff went out of their way to make me feel welcome. I certainly was not expecting them to have my room ready that early, yet they graciously offered me a room without having to wait at all. The only area of improvement in my opinion is the breakfast, as it seemed very disorganized and most of the items didn't reflect a high quality.

Opulent. Gorgeous. Refined. Marble bath w/ gold fixtures and lighting options in the rooms were simply lovely. But what made our trip was the attention to getting our lost bags back for us. We never check bags, and didn’t this time either but they took our carry-ons plane-side and tagged them due to not enough room on the plane. The bags ended up in another country but Volkan at AJWA Sultanahmet and his team helped us navigate this. They tagged the bags with another couple’s name. It was crazy. We are so grateful for the help of our hotel. They coordinated an amazing walking tour for us with Hakan. Fantastic. Could not have had a better experience. Thank you AJWA. —from Ohio, USA. 10/27/2025
