Green Future is evident in every amenity of the room. Chef Heri provided exceptional service, looking after us with great care. Our host Kapten was always prompt in responding to any questions we had. The facilities were well-maintained and never showed any minor problems during our stay. Thank you once again!

Nihi Sumba hits that sweet spot between high energy and total escape. One minute you’re paddling into a perfect turquoise wave or galloping a horse through the surf, the next you’re floating in your own pool watching the sky turn neon at sunset. The vibe is pure barefoot luxury: open-air villas, ocean views for days, and staff who somehow anticipate what you want before you ask. Mornings can be sunrise yoga or a spontaneous boat trip, afternoons might be jungle hikes, spearfishing, or a long, lazy lunch that stretches into cocktails under the stars. It never feels scripted or stuffy—just a constant flow of “wow” moments stitched together with warm, easygoing service. If you like your luxury served with adrenaline, salt on your skin, and sand between your toes, this place delivers in a big way.

Unbelievable experience could not recommend highly enough. The staff are the most amazing people you will ever meet. The environment, facilities, local people, ocean, surfing and overall vibe and atmosphere is simply amazing.

I left NIHI Sumba only yesterday, and already I miss it deeply. The people, the place, the serenity, everything here was exactly what my soul needed. From the very beginning, the experience was effortless. Even before departure, someone was already waiting for us at the airport, escorting us and handling check-in. Upon arrival in Sumba, the NIHI team was there again, welcoming us, taking care of our luggage, and bringing us to a private lounge. The journey continued in NIHI’s super cool car, and the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by our villa captains and the NIHI team. You instantly feel: you are truly taken care of. Dorces deserves a very special mention. She served us lunch (every time, with the most beautiful smile) and explained each menu so thoughtfully. Her knowledge goes far beyond food… she knows the story of the place, the ingredients, and the spirit of NIHI. We absolutely loved her. Our villa was another highlight. Beautifully designed, spacious, and perfectly blended with nature, open, earthy, and elegant at the same time. Falling asleep to the sound of the ocean, waking up with endless views, every corner made us feel completely at home, yet deeply connected to the wild beauty of Sumba. Upi and Sarny, our villa captains (true hospitality professionals), took care of us in every possible way. A huge thank you to Upi, who was always available …. even for spontaneous photo sessions. He knows all the best spots, exactly what he’s doing, and always with a big smile and genuine warmth. Nothing ever felt like too much to ask. Thank you also to Lilik, who has been incredibly supportive and made it possible for us to experience NIHI in such a special way. The spa was a journey on its own — unlike anything I’ve experienced before. A spa with a priceless view, followed by lunch by the ocean, simply unreal. My brother even enjoyed a massage with the horse, Hanna, which made the experience even more unforgettable. Horse riding was incredibly special to me. I felt a real connection with Rossi and Elton, swimming with them in the ocean was pure joy. One morning, we even saw buffalos swimming in the sea. Watching wildlife, the raw nature, and the stunning sunsets made me feel deeply happy and present. Thanks to Phillip for an amazing performance every sunset hour and dinner 💕 I am absolutely in love with this place. There is truly nothing like NIHI Sumba. I will definitely be back next time with my family.
