Nihi Sumba Island

The island is beautiful but Nihi is just paradise!!! The horses, the villa and our captains Ayu and Doris did our vacation unforgettable! We can’t wait to come back 🤗

Nihi Sumba exceeded all our expectations, all the wonderful things we had read were true and more!! The staff were exceptional and every detail beautiful and considered. We would love to return one day!!

Our stay at Nihi Sumba was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely cared for in a way that is incredibly rare. A special thank you to our Guest Captains, Doris and Sarny! They were warm, thoughtful, and incredibly attentive throughout our stay. Every request we had was handled quickly, and they were always one step ahead, anticipating our needs before we even had to ask. Their kindness and dedication made us feel less like guests and more like family. The villa was absolutely stunning, and the entire property is beautifully maintained. Everywhere you look, you can tell how much pride the team takes in preserving the beauty of the resort. What stood out most was the genuine hospitality. The team constantly checked in to make sure we were comfortable, even asking if we had eaten, which was such a thoughtful touch. We arrived later than expected one evening, and they graciously kept the kitchen open so we could still enjoy lunch. It’s these small acts of care that make such a lasting impression. We also stayed at another luxury resort on Sumba during this trip, and while it was beautiful, it simply didn’t provide the same level of warmth, attentiveness, or personalized service. Nihi has a heart that truly sets it apart. The Spa Safari is an absolute must. The setting is breathtaking and unlike anything we’ve experienced. Every detail from booking to coordinating the day was seamless. The team responded to our questions and requests within minutes, always doing their very best to accommodate everything we wanted. Luxury can be found in many places, but genuine hospitality cannot. Nihi Sumba excels at both. We left with unforgettable memories and cannot wait to return.
