Sunriver Resort

We rented a five bedroom/five bath home through Sunriver Resort/Lodging for six nights. It was a family reunion with three couples and four older boys. Upon arrival our kitchen refrigerator failed to work. We called for repairs since many in our group had brought food or stopped on the way to Sunriver to purchase food. To cut to the chase, we were without a kitchen refrigerator for our entire stay. There was a small over flow refrigerator in the garage intended to store items the large kitchen refrigerator could not handle. But the given the size of our party, it could never handle 10 people. We were left storing food in coolers and stocking them with ice. Needless to say, our stay was impacted by unpacking each time we wished to eat. When I sought compensation from Sunriver Lodging, they promised to notify us of the amount during our stay but they never did. I had to demand a meeting with the manager the day before our departure to discuss compensation. The offer was $500 off our $8000 bill. They claim to be a first rate resort offering “ideal” accommodations. The treatment we received speaks otherwise.

This was our first time at Sunriver and Daniel at the front desk was so welcoming and started our vacation off in the best way possible. He was so accommodating and It truly was the best customer service we have ever experienced at a hotel. Thank you Daniel for putting us in an amazing room and for all of your assistance. Everyone else was wonderful too and our room was exceptional. We will definitely be coming back!

Daniel was a lot of help! He made checking in so easy and a nice experience that left everyone feeling amazing afterwards. His customer service was truly top tier, and was part of why our experience at Sun River was so enjoyable!

Perfect vacation experience for our family. Our kids and grandchildren joined us and everyone had a great time. Wonderful golf for us and terrific amenities for the grandchildren.

Daniel at the front desk is the pinnacle of customer service excellence. It’s rare that you meet such a genuine, kind, caring and enthusiastic person in hospitality. If I were to hire him, he’d be in charge of the highest client or customer facing experiences. He made the trip fun, easy and stress free. Really appreciate all his help. The resort is wonderful and there are countless things to do, the river lodges are gorgeous, the horseback riding tour guides are wonderful at their jobs and made it exciting for both beginners and people who’ve ridden before.
