I recently had the pleasure of golfing with some friends who are members at Sunriver, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. The golf course is truly magnificent, beautifully complemented by elk grazing in the meadows. The stunning views throughout the course made every hole a delight. To top it all off, we enjoyed a fantastic dinner at the Owls Nest, which was the perfect ending to a wonderful day. I can’t recommend this place enough to my friends!

I can’t say enough about the fabulous overnight stay I had at Sunriver Resort .I enjoyed an extremely luxurious room with a fabulous view, including Mount bachelor and the golf course, along with resident elk. The room was extremely clean, beautiful, and the spa-like bathroom exceeded expectations. The linens were lovely including very plushy towels. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. I definitely will return! Thank you, Sunriver Resort, for a wonderful respite in the middle of a long trip.

I don’t say this lightly: I feel completely bamboozled. We paid $225 to play at Sunriver Meadows, expecting a premium golf experience. What we got was a flat, boring, uninspired course that wouldn't stand out even as a municipal track. I’ve played better public courses for a third of the price. They try to dress it up with the "Private" branding, but don’t be fooled — the layout is unimaginative, the scenery is average for the area, and there's not a single memorable hole. For $225, I expect something on par with Torrey Pines or at least some elevation changes, strategic design, or a wow factor. This had none of that. To make matters worse, the value just isn’t there. The conditions were fine, sure — but “fine” is what I expect for $50, not nearly five times that. It honestly felt like the resort slapped a private-course price tag on a public-level experience, banking on tourists who don’t know better. Do yourself a favor and explore the surrounding area — there are far better courses in Central Oregon that actually deliver on both price and playability. I left feeling ripped off and frustrated. Never again.

This has been our go-to place every year for our ski trip to Mount Bachelor. The layout is fantastic, with bedrooms located upstairs, soaring ceilings, and tasteful decor that make our stay truly enjoyable. The kitchen is spacious and well-equipped, perfect for cooking and gathering. Large windows open onto a private patio, offering great natural light and privacy. We also enjoy the on-site amenities, especially the pickleball court and swimming pool. Unfortunately, heavy rain this year caused some flooding in parts of the compound, which limited the ability to hike or bike to more scenic areas of the resort. We hope that issue could have been addressed sooner, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience.

Family spring break stay was delightful. The home was in great shape, nice kitchen, lots of room, bikes a'plenty, nice linens and clean. TV's dated, clunky and no HD... easy fix. Local cable second rate, at best. So much for teens to enjoy...they were occupied all day. Nice. Enjoyed Happy Hour at The Lodge, Owl's Nest...typical faire but well done. Taylor was our server and she was super friendly and engaging w/o being over the top. Compliments to her. Great family time always. And a very nice value experience.
