The One Bedroom Crystal Villa offers a 100% worthwhile view, but the overall experience was severely let down by poor maintenance and unacceptable post-stay charges.Upon arrival, the villa's windows were incredibly dirty, which significantly damaged the scenic view we paid a premium price to enjoy. Even worse, a few days after checking out, I received an email charging me for an expensive "Sheer Cream" that we did not even touch.When I called customer service to dispute this, they claimed the product "showed signs of usage" and could no longer be sold. I explained how completely illogical this accusation is—if we actually wanted to use an expensive product, we would have simply taken it home with us. The item was clearly either missed by housekeeping after a previous guest or mistakenly flagged.Charging guests for items left behind in the room is a terrible business practice. For a luxury resort of this tier, both the room cleanliness and the front-desk administration need serious improvement. I am still waiting for management to reverse this fraudulent charge.

I’ve always considered Crown to be one of the best hotel brands. Having previously stayed at both Crown Melbourne and Crown Perth, I had very high expectations, so I chose Crown Sydney to celebrate my wife’s birthday, especially given its incredible harbour location. The views from our room were absolutely stunning and were easily the highlight of our stay. Unfortunately, everything after that was disappointing. After checking in, we spent less than five minutes in the room before heading to the pool. We were enjoying ourselves until we witnessed an unpleasant confrontation between two groups of hotel guests. It was shocking to see such foul language being used in front of families with young children, and there appeared to be very little intervention from the staff. We decided to leave and head out for dinner instead. When we returned to our room, we discovered an adult toy lying right next to the bed. It was obvious the room hadn’t been cleaned properly before being allocated to us. The following morning, we also noticed some strange stains on the floor, which only reinforced our concerns about the housekeeping standards. Breakfast was another letdown. Guests are limited to one hour, yet our coffee took around 20 minutes to arrive. We were also surprised to learn that only one complimentary coffee per person was included, with any additional coffee charged separately. Some of the other policies were equally disappointing. For example, if you request an extra set of cutlery for your room, you’re charged $10. When you’re spending close to $3,000 on accommodation and dining for a special occasion, you expect a premium experience and attention to detail. Instead, we were left feeling disappointed by the cleanliness, service and overall guest experience. It’s a shame because the location and views are exceptional, but unfortunately they weren’t enough to make up for the issues we encountered.

This is a great place to say the hotel is beautiful. The rooms are beautiful. The service is top class. The staff are very experienced and a very well mannered compared to the other casino in Sydney. This place leaves the other place for Deb. The other place reminds me of the toilets that exist in Atlantic City. The pool area is magnificent. The food is beautiful. The range of restaurants is wonderful. The area surrounding Ranga is beautiful and very walker friendly. It’s so easy to get your own public transport. It’s a dream. Why would you drive when you can get a metro here? Take a chance and you’ll never stop coming back.

We stayed here a second time as a family of 5 in a two bedroom suite. The room had ample space for the children and the rooms itself had spectacular views. Breakfast buffet was a highlight once again with the children and the service was good. Being in this part of Barangaroo is always convenient for dining and sight seeing. As we were there for a wedding, our babysitters were able to occupy our children with the nearby playgrounds and ice cream parlours.
