The Fullerton Hotel Sydney

Great location that’s was part of the decision to there. Easy walk to the harbour and to the luxury stores around. Also easy to the metro, buses..

Had a really lovely night at The Fullerton, Martin Place, Sydney after seeing Nick Cave at The Domain. So perfectly central to everything, the wonderful heritage of the old building beautifully and thoughtfully restored and elegantly preserved. The room was spacious and modern, the bed & pillows nice and comfy, slept very well and the staff helpful and courteous. Will definitely stay again.

These rooms are that old school spaciousness new hotels are missing. The bed was huge and comfortable with many pillow options. Great lighting in the bathroom and space to put toiletries. Although I didn't need the privacy, the seperate toilet and shower within the bathroom is worth noting. Full length mirrors are great, rarely seen in some hotels. Lovely slippers and robes that actually fit and aren't swimming in. Gym/fitness centre is well equipped with enough weight, cable and cardio machine doe a decent workout. A true luxury hotel

It was a nice experience to stay in a Victorian era building with good architecture - gave a good character to the hotel. Location is convenient as you are about a 3 minute walk from the tram stop and about a 7 minute walk to the station. Lots of restaurants at walking distant from the hotel. We had a room which looked over the large foyer of the hotel, which was initially disappointing but we then liked the view from our window of the hotel architecture. Room quality & bathroom was upto the mark and gave a good 5 star feel. The hotel heritage tour is a must do to understand the history of the hotel building and the history of Sydney. Concierge in the hotel is super helpful and they give some good advise on sightseeing and local travel. Breakfast service had a wide range of options and was nice to see an Indian vegetarian option also available (idlis). Service at restaurant was inconsistent and we face one instance of the restaurant manager giving us a rather curt & rude response when we pointed out that the table assigned to us was not clean (would have given this hotel 5 stars but 1 star deducted because of this unpleasant incident).

We stayed three nights after our cruise at this wonderful hotel in the Sydney city center! Great choice, the room in the heritage section of the hotel was amazing! It was a great space, very clean, well appointed with great amenities and a great location. Highly recommend. We didn't purchase the breakfast package as there are numerous options nearby, as well as lunch or dinner.
